"The hotel was fantastic. The room was gorgeous and spacious. It’s a small family owned hotel, and the owners were very friendly, polite and courteous. The only gripe I have is not with the property or the owners/operators, but with the location of the property. It’s pretty remote. Not many amenities near by. This is a little frustrating because if you want drinks or snacks in the evening, the only options are a Dollar General and a gas station/mini-mart near by. Again, this issue is with...

"Perfect location, within walking distance to all of the historic downtown attractions. By far, the cleanest hotel we've stayed in! We toured the jail and rode the train. Next time we'd like to get in some hiking and biking along the river! Would definitely stay again! Note...most attractions, shops, and eateries have limited hours...plan accordingly!"

"Suites should have more trash pails for refuse. Bathroom wallpapered walls had stains all around sink area. Could use more dining options & Energy efficient lighting was too dim, otherwise resort is beautiful, staff was accomodating & we enjoyed ourselves. "
