"We were extremely happy with our stay at The Ashley Inn. Our room was perfect. Not one complaint from us. We were very satisfied with the breakfast. Good amount of seating for a somewhat small room. Good selections for adults and kids. On our third day there, I watched an employee by the name of Trish, work non-stop (until I interrupted her work by talking to her. She was so very nice) keeping the breakfast room clean and stocked. The people at the front desk always greeted us going in and out. I had a question on my bill, when I got home, I called and talked to Hichan. He looked into the problem and fixed everything to my complete satisfaction. "This property is in a great location in Seaside and overall we had an OK stay. The property is very outdated. Things were old and pretty sparse. For three of us in a double queen room, there were only two chairs at a small dining table in addition to the beds so not many places to sit and relax. We brought our small dog, which was nice, although they use some kind of room deodorizer that was overpowering and very strong. I had a headache the first night from it. It thankfully dissipated a lot by the second night. The breakfast was an offering of breads, bagels, cereals, fruit juice, coffee, teas, flavored yogurts, apples, oranges and hard boiled eggs. Plan to bring protein, if starting your day with that is important to you! There’s a mini fridge, microwave and cooktop in the room. Although there was dish ware and silverware, we had to ask for pots and pans. My husband and son said the hot tub was nice and warm. We also enjoyed the offering of cookies at 6:00pm each evening. They were yummy! The staff was OK. Some were very nice while others seemed put out. I really wish it was a nicer place. Not sure we’ll go back."
