"Crown Motel is clean and comfortable and you cannot beat the location. It’s right on the water with its own private beach. It’s nothing fancy but it had everything I was looking for in a lakefront property. Ruby was great during the check in process. The bbq/picnic area was a nice surprise and it was awesome that so many people were using it. The patios and deck areas offer places for people to hang out and I love the pool area. Everything was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. If there was one thing that disappointed me, it’s that there was no in room coffee but there’s a great place next door! Overall Crown Motel is a great, simple little lakeside property and I will definitely be back!"

"Always the best place to stay in Lake Tahoe"

"I really wish I could have stayed here more than one night. The staff was so friendly. The hotel includes a restaurant, sauna, and lounge areas with gas fire pits. Right behind it is a golf course and the best part is the view of Lake Tahoe in front of the hotel. Rooms were nice and clean. Most beautiful city I have ever been. I loved every second."

"This is a no frills motel/Inn. I have gone twice now and they do not have a daily maid service, the pool is full of dirt with no intention of emptying or using as a pool which is OK. This being said the Monday night to Thursday night rate is fair but, for a weekend stay it is outrages for what you receive- even for a no frills Motel/Inn. Again this is a Motel/Inn not a Hotel as advertised."

"I love this hotel! Right in the center of Squaw Valley; a quick walk to restaurants and bars, or out into nature. The staff is friendly, and my wife was very happy to be there. All in all great place that we'd be happy to go back to."
