"Room was clean, but when trying to drink from the mini bar in the room, there was black smudge on the handle and dead flies in the nozzle. Also, when we arrived, they only have one elevator to get to the room and it wasnt working. We had to go up 3 flights of steps to get to our room"

"We had a really enjoyable stay at Hotel Riu Palace Jamaica overall. The pools were clean and well-maintained, and the staff truly stood out — everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the trip. The food was excellent for the most part. Nearly everything we tried was delicious and well-prepared. The only exception was the lobster, which unfortunately was overcooked and rubbery both times we ordered it. The room was a bit dated and had a few minor issues, but nothing that significantly impacted our stay. Entertainment wasn’t their strongest area, but there was still enough to keep things enjoyable. All in all, it was a great vacation. The positives definitely outweighed the negatives, and we would absolutely come back."
