The outdoor space was large enough and had a nice propane grill that was simple to use. The wifi was also fantasic throughout the house. It had all of the creature comforts someone would need on vacation. We appreciated access to the washer and dryer, especially traveling with small kids. The kitchen was well equipped and there were enough linens and towels for everyone. We did not use the backyard due to the heat but it was well manicured and looked nice. On the downside, we were not totally comfortable with the neighborhood - on our first night in the house, three young children rang the doorbell at around 9:30PM and invited us to go out and watch them do gymnastic moves. We were wondering why parents of these children allow them to be out after 9:30PM much less casually invite neighbors to hang out with them outside at night. However, it is a new build in a developing area. As someone who does not know anything about the Charleston area, I now know there is a big difference between North Charleston and downtown. Moving forward I now know it’s equally as important to understand the surroundings and neighborhood of the VRBO rentals as it is to review the actual listing itself. I recommend google mapping yourself into this area so you fully understand the location. ##### James K.
