Unfortunetly many other people have fallen fowl to this sort of approach due to many hotels being sold out and high prices starting to appear due to both the music event and a Wolves home football game. "Decent location close to bus/train; walking distance for grocery and a quick Uber to eat costs around 8 pounds. When we first arrived we verified the bed linens were soiled from the previous occupant. There is no mattress on the bed just a severely worn mattress pad. Felt the supporting board of the bed - very uncomfortable! Basic amenities were not provided - washcloths/facecloths; soap etc. Don’t book If you need a decent night sleep. It’s a bargain for the money if the mattress and clean...

"Meadow Terrace is in a great location in Shrewsbury. A parking space is available for the duration of the stay. The beds were very comfortable. It is an old house on 3 levels, so quite a few stairs, but with plenty of room for the 2 of us. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was our second time here."

"Made a booking which was confirmed but then I received a message saying this property will not accept one night bookings at weekends. I also received no PIN number for access to the property but your company still took the money from my account. I had to find other accommodation when I got there. I will not be using vrbo again."
