"The host is very attentive and eager for you to enjoy your stay. We liked being in the country. The kitchen is well equipped and the property is very close to a big grocery store. I think this location gives you good access to nearby areas (Serra Mamede for example) well as the points of interest in Portalegre. We really enjoyed the textile museum. Aida provided us with jams, oranges, and croissants for breakfast. It was a nice stay."

The house and its outside area is beautifully decorated, the pool is perfect for the warm weather and we felt safe and well taken care of the whole time - if we needed something or had questions, the management was just a WhatsApp message away. There‘s not too much to do in the closer vicinity but we didn’t feel the need to leave the property anyway, as there was a great tennis court...

"A beautiful hotel in an amazing village. Breakfast was also great with pancakes and scrambled egg included plus the normal pastries, bread, yoghurt, cheese, meat and fruit! We managed to park right outside the hotel (4 spaces) but there is also a public car park in the same area. A walk around the walls and castle of Marvão is thoroughly recommended - marvellous 360 views!"

"The hotel was nothing short of beautiful.The receptionist was very accomidating, nice and helpfull. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel resturant, and on top of the tasty dinner with unique dishes of the area, staying at the hotel will earn you a 10 percent discount at the resturant.
