Great hotel! Beautiful view from the room! It is a bit of a walk from Nikko which can be lovely after eating way too much food for dinner. Taxis are fairly inexpensive back-and-forth.
When I stayed, there was a food truck that showed up for breakfast and dinner options, this was fantastic! The quality of the food was really high.
I didnât try any of the food from the little store that they have on site, but the pizza did smell good.
The laundry machines were always busy, so thatâs something to be aware of. I would definitely stay again.
This hotel was undoubtedly a highlight of my trip. Itâs beautiful, and the service was exceptional. A special thank you to Miyu I., who made us feel as though we were staying at a luxury hotel. She was like our personal concierge, helping us with everything, including securing restaurant reservations. Her professionalism and genuine care were outstanding. Thank you, Miyu, for making our stay in Nikko so memorable!
From checkin to checkout, our experience at the hotel was great. The staff were great to deal with, very friendly. The hotel room was clean and spacious. We used the shuttle to and from the train station with no issues. The hotel is a bit away from the main area, however, it is walkable when it's light out. I would not recommend lugging your bags from the train station. Either use the shuttle or take a taxi.
I really like the atmosphere, very quiet and peaceful. The place was so clean and neat. Staffs were friendly, they gave us towels when we arrived because it was raining. We will definitely book it again.
This hotel was perfect! Beautiful and comfortable rooms, had everything we needed. Staff were really lovely. Great location for exploring Nikko if you have a car.
The staff and the property were wonderful! Beautiful rooms and environment! The free shuttle from the train station was helpful. Amenities were nice, with coffee & latte machine. Would recommend both Nikko and the hotel!
Very comfortable and stylish hotel in a quiet setting with rural outlook. A very relaxing stay if you're visiting Nikko and don't mind being a little out of town.
Clean, modern and spacious rooms, good wifi, hotel seems to be brand new. Front desk staff was very friendly and attentive. Shuttle worked well, taxi services stop quite early so makes it difficult to go for dinner in town if you donât have a car.
This is a terrific basic hotel with very clean and stylish Western-style rooms (albeit with the small Japanese beds) and public spaces at reasonable rates. Would definitely stay here again.
It is a bit out of the way from central Nikko (up a hill from the train stations, and a bit too far on rural roads to be truly walkable), but cabs are cheap and the hotel runs a free shuttle to the stations in the morning and late afternoon. Also there is no restaurant on-site. However, thereâs free tea/coffee/miso soup in the lobby, basic food items for sale at the front desk, and a good breakfast truck (with Western breakfast items and coffee) comes by from 7-10 am.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable and staffs were very kind, too.
But there is nothing around the hotel, so I think it would be better to eat beforehand or bring something with you!
The staff is amazing and the rooms are lovely. Only issue is the that it is a bit of a distance from town but if you are ok with that this is the perfect option.
We really enjoyed our stay at Fairfield Marriott. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and had a modern layout- the beds were so comfortable. The onsite parking was very convenient as we had a car, and the communal kitchen was especially great for heating up meals. They also had a coffee machine available for guests to use, which was a nice touch. Weâd happily stay here again!
