"Her var vi i ødemarken! Langt utenfor sivilisasjonen. Ventet på kontakt med ver i over 5 timer, frøs og det var kaldt! Fikk hjelp til å få på radiatorer når kl var nesten 23:00! Denne slo seg av pg vi måtte slå på igjen etter noen timer!!!! Ingen info om hvordan betjene radiatorpanelet! Vi annulerte dag to, for her ville vi ikke være! Hadde vi fått kontakt med vert tidligere hadde vi reist før, men måtte jo bli natten over - for vi kunne jo ikke booke ny bolig når kl var så sent på kvelden! Men...

"Helena was friendly and accommodating. We have stayed previously on the site in our motor home but this time we decided to stay in the pod. It was really warm inside the pod with heat coming from electric fires. The beds where nice and cosy with duvets, warm blankets and long hot water bottles provided. Tea and coffee is supplied and it was relaxing sitting on the comfy seats drinking a hot cuppa while watching the snow come down. The scenery is beautiful and our dog enjoyed her walks by the...

"The pod is just as described and has everything you need for a few days away. Shared kitchen and shower / bathroom facilities on site. Basic but clean and easily accessible. Helena was lovely, she even brought me some hot water bottles as the first night was stormy. Great communication and quick to respond. Easy check in. The location is simply beautiful, so peaceful and quiet. Perfect short getaway for me and my 2 dogs. I would definitely recommend and return."

"My partner and I stayed for just one night and met John, our host, on arrival. John was an absolute gentleman and made every effort to accommodate us. The room was perfect, spacious, with an adjoining terrace that had gorgeous views of the local countryside. Breakfast the next day was, as everything else, impeccable! Overall a very welcoming and relaxing experience and we would highly recommend Ardgort House to anyone travelling in this area!"
