"Very basic and probably better suited to sports teams and school groups which seemed to make up the majority of other travellers. Loud music played from the pub downstairs but did stop promptly at 10.30pm each night. A bit of a walk to the CBD for my office, and food options were mostly fast food. Fit out is a bit dated and tired. Will likely try somewhere else next time. "

"This is our favourite hotel in Brisbane. This time we stayed in a balcony room with a view of the river. As always, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Renovations are taking place in the restaurant downstairs, but this did not affect our stay at all as food and drinks were still being served on the top floor Eagles nest. We love that the area around the hotel is quieter than in the city, but it's just an easy walk over the new bridge to everything Brisbane has to offer. Disappointed that car parking is now charged but do understand that this may be necessary."

"Great room, lots of room, kitchen, laundry in suite, close to train station and central activities. Area outside pool needs some chairs - no place to sit. "

"Air conditioning through out the hotel was freezing. We tried setting our room at 22deg ( they had 18) but it was very poor and took a day to get to 21deg. "
