. It was windy while we were there . I’m not sure if that is usual and you can’t swim in the

due to crocodiles however it’s stunnng to wake to the sound and look of waves . Great managers of the property! Also no blinds and doors are not solid so you can hear everything"

is the perfect distance from Port Douglas. Close enough to get to it when you need to, but far enough away from the crowds that it feels like your own piece of paradise. The house is wonderfully open and light with a huge deck overlooking the pool and

. We had breakfast there most days. When the weather was less kind, the kitchen and living areas are huge and have pretty much everything you could want. I highly recommend it"

"We enjoyed the location and outside of this villa very much. The

from the pool side was spectacular. It is not our 1st stay at Newell
Beach
. As far as the inside of this Villa is concerned it needs maintenance badly. The description of this place is not accurate and not worth $500+ per night. There is nothing “state of the art” or “gourmet”about the kitchen, except that it has stainless steel bench-tops. We chose this Villa because my husband is an ex-chef and his hobby on holidays...

"This home was fantastic! The rooms were so well spaced out -- our group of 4 adults and 4 kids felt quite at home, with plenty of room for everyone. The outdoor area is spectacular -- kids loved the heated pool as well as the beautiful

, where they spent hours building forts with driftwood. It was a bit of a hike for getting to/from Cairns but easy access to Port Douglas and Mossman Gorge."
