Great location and restaurant, a little worn.

The new Redbury is the Martha Washington with different art. The scuffs on the walls and doors and tiny bathrooms (even for a parlor queen room) can be overlooked thanks the 6 train being so close and the restaurant Marta being downstairs.

The staff did not refill our mini bar at all we had to call down each day and ask to refill drinks and ask for extra towels and we had to tip someone to bring things up each time...

no VIP treatment

AC broke in our VIP room, transferred to a handicapped room with less amenities. We left early for the day tour, came back after lunch and our room was not clean, our garbage still full from the night before.

Yankee Trip

Pros: with NYC is location, location, location....close enough to subway and sightseeing; yet distant enough not to hear the constant traffic of the street
Cons: Signage; because of construction around the hotel, you have to keep a keen eye to locate the hotel
Location: Madison Square Park, Macy's, Time Square, MSG all within hop, skip and a jump from the hotel
The hotel was very nice and clean. kind of hesitant because of past reviews; but the hotel exceeded my expectations. Cool location by subway station. Staff was very nice and offered useful information about the neighborhood. Room clean and A/C worked too well (lol) I would stay here again

Most air conditioners in rooms don't work. I had to change rooms three times. But you get the best staff, very accommodating.

Nice hotel Great location Subway close by Didn't really appreciate being charged the resort fee and being told that includes free wi-fi. Essentially that was the charge for wi-fi. And I didn't use the gym so really guests should just have the option to pay for wi-fi or gym privileges if the hotel can't provide them for free. However, I read reviews before I booked my stay so the charge was not a surprise.

Nice hotel, close to Times Square.

Hotel is at a good location. Some rooms can be smaller and narrower (including toilets) than others but rooms are clean. The incense/fragrance used in the corridor areas can be uncomfortable to some customers. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I even got a complimentary bottle of wine during my stay.

Only if you like tiny rooms!!

Very small room and certainly not the one described in reservation. Only Tokyo provides smaller hotel rooms. Verg good hotel restaurant.
