"We had such a wonderful stay here. Perfect location in Rethymno. Easy access to walk into the centre, super location with private beach just over the road in front of the hotel. Gorgeous breakfast and bar location and the best hotel breakfasts I have had in a long time - felt like being out for brunch as a local. The staff were so so friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect size and clean with a gorgeous view over the water and with a balcony to enjoy the sunset. Pool and rooftop were such nice benefits and the style and design of the property was fab. Hope to come back!! Thank you"

"This hotel is amazing. We stayed in the platinum suite. It was absolutely gorgeous, clean, and huge space. The staff was incredibly friendly. The food was delicious. It was steps from the beach and the beach club is included in your stay. The price point for this hotel is such a deal. I really am so impressed with this place. Hot tub inside and on the balcony. Theres fresh baked Cretan dessert in the fridge along with water. There’s robes and slippers, blow dryer shampoo conditioner and body wash in a beautiful rainfall shower. Breakfast is also included and it’s DELICIOUS. Really good options. Very comfortable stay. DYO suites thank you for your hospitality and for an amazing comfortable and luxurious stay!"

"A five star would have been given if not for our encounter with a very rude, incorrigible, narcissistic, receptionist. He should not be in the position to deal with guest. The rest of the staff were wonderful, helpful and easy to deal with. First impressions are so important. We did not appreciate being talked down to."

"If want a hotel where the owners treat you as a person and not a number, come to Calla Luxury Seafront Suites. Katja, Michalis, and their team are absolutely incredible. They saved us so much time by helping us arrange transportation, book taxis, and pointing us toward the best authentic restaurants in the Old Town area.The beach location is central yet quiet at night for a peaceful sleep. We loved swimming in the beautiful pool after a day at the beach and watching the gorgeous sunsets from the rooftoop. The breakfasts are freshly cooked and include special Greek treats each morning. It's been many years since I have stayed at a hotel that prepares such a special and fresh breakfast. The room was immaculate, clean, comfortable. No detail overlooked. We stayed in a first floor room with hot tub which we loved as we had our private entrance and patio surrounded by beautiful plants. Thank you both for creating such a relaxing and welcoming experience. We cant wait to visit again from Germany. Efharisto! Kris and Jimmy"

Eltina Hotel

"Hotel easy to find, next to large supermarket on a main road, a mile from the cross island route. Some parking, 3 allocated spaces and then on street parking nearby Has a lift but some stairs involved for most rooms. Room was a 2 room apartment with a large lounge/kitchen area, with a large Smart TV, oven, hob and fridge. Balcony off each room, large shower room, and plenty of storage space. Complimentary breakfast was good. Pool area limited, not enough sunbeds and begins to lose sun from about 3pm. Staff were pleasant and helpful. 100yds from the massive beach and its safe promenade full of bars and restaurants leading to town, about a mile away. The main road option I would avoid on foot, parked cars and busy junctions."
