This is a very beautiful B&B. It is in a prime location. Very close to bus stop. Right in the heart of Juifen old street. Looks beautiful. Lot of tourist take pictures in front of this B&B. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. My kids loved their stay here. They even gave us free breakfast for four. If I travel to Taiwan again will definitely go to Juifen and stay here again.

We have booked the Sea view room. Upon entering the room, you can smell the thick muskiness. We reckon the smelln came from the humidlity, old furnitures and moulds in the whole room. The toilets are filled with mould- on the wall, door and tiles. We do not want to shower there and had to wear bathroom slippers in. The mouldy smell is so bad that I cant fall asleep until 5am in the morning. it is really not a great experience especially we are looking forward to enjoy the seaview room. I will not recommend especially when we paid SGD 156 for a room and had to tolerate the smell, rusty appliances and stained windows. PS: for someone with sensitvitiy to mould, please avoid

Hotel is located right in the middle of Jiufen main street, where all the tours would start from. It's not hard to find the entrance of this hotel. Room size is small, has a basin inside of shower. Shower water isn't hot and has pressure issue. Breakfast is simple, served with bread, fried eggs, salad and ham. Portion is small. It's a 6.5 out of 10 stay.

Excellent breakfast, their meat sauce (braised pork) and red bean breakfast was top notch, better than restaurant quality. Location is directly within the famous Jiufes street, so it is very easy to access the rest of the town from the hotel. However, be mindful it is very difficult to reach the hotel during busy hours as the market street is full (packed full) with a river of people. There is a backstreet (with steps) which we used to get in and out.

A short walk from the entrance of Journey Old Street, very convenient to access and fun to stay overnight so that you see the streets full of people at night, then quiet and easy to walk in the morning. Great breakfast.

I like the room and the amenities so much. The breakfast is good. There is no elevator u might concern if u have a big luggages but the staff there is very kind helping us carry the huge and heavy luggages up to the room.

The place is in a prime spot in JiuFen. Unfortunately the Restaurant attached isn't very customer friendly.They close super early, which limits offerings for those staying at their BNB. Breakfast is at 7:00 promptly ending at 8:00. Though the Breakfast is delicious. The rooms were passable, though it had a smell coming from the bathroom, it smelled of mold. Perhaps repainting is in order. The view from the Balcony (top floor) is excellent and great. If I were to revisit Jiufen, though I would more likely look for another BnB.

Great stay
Most everything can be summarized with "it was an awesome stay!" The room was immaculately clean, the view was amazing, all the furnishing were comfortable, and the location was killer. There's one, small blemish on the otherwise great stay. The provided breakfast was kind of odd and sad. I'm not certain if this is given to all guests or not but it felt like someone googled "what do Americans eat?". I think it was the second time I've seen ketchup in roughly a month of living in Taipei... However! The also available Taiwanese continental breakfast available of rice, beef/tofu chili-esque sauce, and a black bean soup was delicious! So, we definitely didn't go hungry.

Loved the B&B!
It was super comfortable and convenient from where we were staying to the main attraction: A-mei Teahouse! I would consider staying here again given that they provided great service and super clean rooms. My family enjoyed it very much so because they also gave really good breakfast options. Just for future reference, they would require reservations for breakfast.

Nice and Cosy Hotel
The location of the hotel is very good, right in the heart of Jiu Fen Old street. But it can be quite crowd especially during the weekend thus a bit difficult to walk through with a big luggage.

Great location! The hotel is right in the middle of Juifen. Our room was small, but very clean and comfortable with good AC and WiFi. Breakfast in the morning was a set meal, but very nice.

Nice room with view of mountain & Jiufen old street. But it was not the one I thought I was getting in the photo, hahah. Alas, a slightly smaller one. But overall very romantic & pleasing stay. Very conveniently located near the entry of Jiufen old street. (But do note that most shops are closed by about 7pm, so there is nothing much to do at night)

Excellent suite and service is good. A lady offered us some tea the moment we entered the lobby. Easy to find the place as it is along the Jiufen Old Street. If you get the suite, the bay view is similar to the one you get from teahouses, so you can skip the teahouse. Breakfast is a fixed set meal with free flow braised meat rice and yummy red bean yam balls.
