Room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of Canal St. We could even see the river. Very convenient since our conference was there.

Waldorf Astoria is the best!

Posted 25-Jan-2016
There is just something about those Waldorf hotels. You feel like they really care that you are comfortable and happy! Great beds and linens, nice, robes, and just old-fashioned quality.

First Time in New Orleans

Posted 31-Dec-2015
Pros: Great beds, clean rooms, close to everything, quiet at night, exciting lobby.
Cons: Free coffee and tea in the lobby for guests.
Location: Walking distance to all the main sights and near the trolley line, in case you need to venture farther to places like the Garden District and museums.
OMG ... there is so much to do in this unique city. We stayed a full week. so being at a comfortable hotel like the Roosevelt made our trip fabulous. The music and food in this delightful city can't be beat anywhere in the world!

Didn't really live up to the Waldorf Astoria name

Posted 28-Dec-2015
Pros: Location was excellent.
Cons: Hire more people to work at the front desk and housekeeping.
We stayed for four nights and at holiday time, the lobby of this hotel seems to be the place to be. Beautiful Christmas lights and lots of crowds. The rooms are well appointed. Furnishings are very nice and for the rate we paid, it was certainly an great deal. Our room, however, was dirty. There were pieces of food on the carpet and crumbs on the nightstand when we arrived. During our stay, the room was never cleaned well. The shower tub and walls were slimy and I don't believe the carpet was ever vacuumed. Overall, the hotel was good based on location and amenities.

Very clean , quiet hotel. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in at a hotel. The shower was amazing! The staff was extremely helpful.

Nothing Overlooked

Posted 03-Nov-2015
Pros: Large room. Completely updated, clean and great location. Close enough, but far enough away from the Quarter.
Cons: Get rid of plastic water bottles. Unnecessary.
Location: In the center and hub of a wonderful and vibrant city.
From check in to check out a great experience. Don't miss eating at Domenica. Fantastic.
