Only cons are that the windows let in a lot of light in the bedroom in the mornings and you can easily hear other residents. The people above us were up at around 9 am so we were too. Obviously that's completely personal preference thing, but in case you're like me and like to sleep in, I recommend bringing a noise machine and an eye mask. The home itself is nothing short of majestic, a stunner that is beautifully preserved and decorated. A short walk to the oldest continuously running street car line in the world, the St. Charles line, easily takes you around town. We used The Fresh Market grocery, and recommend going to the hot deli and picking up their rotisserie chicken dinners, as everything is ready to eat and it works well with the set up of the mini fridge and microwave in the suite. The suite itself is thoughtfully decorated, with artful delights at every turn. Amenities were plentiful and as described, and the bed was comfortable. As someone who managed a VRBO for nearly a decade, I can attest that this is a spotless unit as well. Thank you Del and Trena for an unforgettable stay in a magnificent home! ##### Leslie N. Was not disappointed! Location is great, only a 3-5 minute walk to the St. Charles cable car and the ride to all the action was 20 minutes or less away. Convenient and affordable way to experience the city. Parking was great and right outside the house. The place was super clean and comfortable and everything was fantastic! Had such a wonderful visit. 3 minute walk to catch to cable car. 20 min walk to restaurants through a beautiful neighborhood. Gorgeous kitchen, huge master bath suite with dual shower and separate jacuzzi tub. King bed with soft Italian sheets. And a small music room with lots of jazz to listen to. Luckily we met some other folks staying in the building that gave us the phone number for a different property manager that was very responsive and fixed the problem quickly. The home has all the historic charm you expect from architecture in New Orleans and the location is just 1 block from the St. Charles Streetcar line, which will take you downtown and into the French Quarter in 15-20min. Magazine Street is also within walking distance and has a variety of great shops and restaurants. Would stay again! ##### Jacob F.
