We arrived after dark. Laurie left the lights on for us. This property is well furnished and clean. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the kayaks, fishing from the dock, and relaxing in this quiet and scenic location where there is an abundance of wildlife. It is located just a short drive from the French Quarter. I do recommend bringing plenty of drinking water and bug repellent. ##### Helen F. You are an amazing host and we loved our long weekend on Lake Catherine. The house was stocked with everything we could have needed and then some!!! We only wish there had been fish for catching (probably just not the right time of year). But there were plenty of alligators that entertained us! Lol!!! This was absolutely the perfect place for us to relax, unwind and reconnect. We make a trip to NOLA every year and now that we’ve found this beautiful home, we may add a fews days to our annual getaway for some much needed rest and relaxation! ##### Hannah M.
