The residences are located on Carondelet Street one block off St. Charles Street. Just adjacent to everything the Garden District offers in NOLA. This Spacious 3 Bedroom 2.5 Bath Carondelet St residence has spacious Kitchen Living and Dining area downstairs complete with a half Bath. The 3 Bedrooms and 2 Baths are located on the second level along with a Balcony that overlooks Carondelet St. The secure gated compound layout has a large private courtyard shared by all units as well as a shared swimming pool. Six of the units are new construction and four of the units are modern updates of a turn of the century structure. Complete with recessed lighting and granite countertops. All units have century-old wood flooring and updated appliances and the newer units have exquisite quartz countertops. Street car - Residences Du Carondelet sits within one block of St. Charles Street Car Lines. Residents can step out the door and ride North through Mid-City to City Park or West through the CBD uptown to the Garden District, the Universities, and the Carrollton neighborhood. CBD - Residences Du Carondelet is situated at the walking distance Central Business District (CBD). Originally known as the "Faubourg St. Marie", the CBD was the site of the city's first expansion outside of its original French Quarter boundaries in 1803. The house is well appointed, in a safe area, and close to public transportation. The courtyard is beautiful and the inside of the house has a cute New Orleans theme. We rented this house for 3 adults, a 2 year old and 11 month old. Plenty of space for all of us and the open kitchen and living room space is nice. We enjoyed the pool as well. Would highly recommend this if you’re staying with a semi-large group of people. It was very spacious for the 6 of us, and there were plenty of restaurants and amenities within walking distance! It’s about a 25-30 minute walk, and a \~10 minute drive to Bourbon Street, so keep that in mind if you were looking to do more in that area. It was a perfect fit for us though! ##### Matthew S. You’re only a block away from St, Charles so you can grab some food and the street car. The courtyard was nice and it was well lit at night. The pool looked nice but to chilly to get in for March. The place was very clean, a primary concern of ours with any place we rent. We weren’t completely sure about the location, but it proved quite nice. We didn’t do much walking around the immediate area, but it stayed quiet at night and was extremely convenient for us to get to wherever we wanted to go. My kids loved the courtyard and the pool. It was a very relaxing spot to enjoy a coffee or a drink while the kids cooled down and expended energy. We’d definitely look to return here again. ##### Stephen E. Very clean. Felt safe. Couple of things I would have liked to have- Kleenex (only had toilet paper or paper towel to blow your nose), hair dryer in both bathrooms- 4 females getting ready needs more than 1 hair dryer, additional hooks to hang your towel (had towel bars), cookie sheet/pizza pan in the kitchen, plastic cups for the pool area (didn’t want to take glass out there). Kids had their own bedroom. It was close to the trolley. Many restaurants near by. Roads and sidewalks were a little beat up. There could be a few more cooking amenities. The pool was awesome. The dryer didn’t work great. The house beautiful and clean. AC worked well. Easy parking out front. The bar across the street could be a little loud but didn’t disturb us that much. ##### Heather N. Close restaurants and street car. We chose to walk to the WWII museum rather than wait for the streetcar one day. It was about 0.6 miles. The kitchen was not all that well stocked. It was ok, just not for cereal or soup people. Only 3 spoons and no bowls. No mixing bowls or spatulas (either pancake flipper OR rubber scraper) Communication with Hosteeva had to be through their website, not VRBO app. ##### Mollie D. The vrbo is beautiful on the inside and there was plenty of room for 6 guests. However, when we got there, it took about 20 minutes for us to get inside because we were not provided with the correct information on how to open the front door.
