It’s a great location and very nice for two couples.Check in and check out was no problem and while we did not rent a vehicle if you do, there’s plenty of parking in front of the property. A lot of very nice restaurants in the area. We ate at Avo, Franky and Johnny’s and Saba as well as the Dim Sum bakery. All very good! It is dark and dingy. The TVs are baffling, and one of the bedrooms is immediately visible upon opening the front door, in what I assume was originally a dining room. The hot water in one of the showers is lukewarm, and the backyard, which is touted as one of the nicest features of this property, has obviously not been tended to for a very long time. The only real noise is the kids playing at recess across the street at the school. the walk- through flat feels it's age but we liked that. Don't expect a 100 year old house to feel pristine. It was comfortable including the beds. Most of the windows are on the sides of the house and since it's so close to the neighbor, it doesn't get a lot of direct sun light fyi. It's a great neighborhood near Audobon park if you are looking for more of a low key stay out of the craziness of the Quarter. It's about a 18 min walk to the street car. Get the Le Pass app to use it. ubers were easy to get even when it rained. TVs only have antenna tv. I tried to stream netflix in the back den but it kept buffering - i think because of the plaster walls. It would probably be fine in the front bedroom where the modem is. ##### Erin F. We love being close to Audubon to walk and play tennis and golf. It’s the perfect location - just off Magazine and its restaurants, a short walk to the streetcar, and close to the river. The house provided everything we needed, but most of all, and especially lovely front porch for the perfect weather we had. Both bedrooms and bathrooms were great for our size party. We had a few quirks during our stay, like the fire alarm randomly going off in the middle of the night and a bathroom door coming loose, but the host was responsive and fixed the problem promptly. If you are a light sleeper and end up with noisey neighbors you can hear things like heavy walking/running children pretty loudly in some rooms. But overall, it was the best local, super cute, comfy, and fit 6 people nicely. I would def stay here again!!! ##### Rebecca S.
