It is a newer building but has been mistreated a little. A few dings and dents, broken toilet paper holders, a cracked sink, and so on. No real show stoppers. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was great but lacked a decent set of pots, pans, tools, and towels. The full size washer and dryer is a nice touch. The pool and courtyard is fabulous as well. My team had an excellent time reconnecting after 2 years of isolation. We would definitely stay here again! ##### Jay B. When a child massacred the bedding with vomit one night, we called and had fresh sheets available the next morning. The only things that may have improved the experience would have been 1) resolution of the clogged drain which created a fetid infinity puddle in a prime parking location outside the property, 2) greater attention to the outdoor clutter and occasional debris within the property grounds (again, this may not be within the hosts’ control) 3) blackout shades, or the ability to turn off the outdoor lights that surround each building (3 am and 8 am look the same through the blinds because this lights BRIGHT). I would return here with ELATION and definitely plan booking this location in the future. The location within walking distance to the garden district neighborhoods, uptown, and the French Quarter, as well as the trolley line, make this property an excellent home base for New Orleans visitors. ##### Allison R. Place was very clean and in great shape. Looked newly built, updated, with lots of space. Love the hardwood floors, nice kitchen, and tall ceilings. Water was hot is showers.
