It is expensive, and parking is extra, but for quiet, security and proximity to a large, verdant running park along ng the Mississippi, interesting home style restaurants (Elizabeth's, N7 & even El Flaco fab food truck, it was great $20 Uber to French Quarter.

We had a great time in the city, and most importantly, the hotel was amazing! The room was clean, comfortable, and very nice. Everything was well maintained, and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel made our trip even better, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay, everything was clean, but our kitchen could’ve used more paper towel stock and the television and sofa was just at an awkward angle where you can’t really watch the TV without straining your neck, but other than that the property was really nice with gated community. The living room was spacious and we liked that each bedroom had its own private bathroom.

Staff was very accommodating, it was not the right place for me to stay. A massive property - self check in, room smelled intensely of room fresheners, no one anywhere, very hard to find front desk. I requested to cancel the stay as I didn’t feel comfortable staying as a solo traveler- creepy and isolated. The manager was very helpful in making that happen.

The floors were very dirty when we arrived. My feet turned black after like 30 minutes of walking barefoot. There was dust on the fans & surfaces. Previous guests food was still in the freezer. There was basically an empty roll of toilet paper in one bathroom then only 1 other roll in the place (have to supply your own). Overall location & property was nice. Just could be better maintained for guests.

It was a great stay. Gated parking although a daily fee, very clean rooms and comfortable, and the Bywater neighborhood had great restaurants. Close enough to the FQ but less expensive than staying in the FQ area. Would stay here again.

Loved our stay!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. It was half business and half family trip. The place was very safe gated quiet we enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. It has such amazing history! We would definitely stay again!
