Very easy check in with a very helpful and kind staff. Everything was explained and they were happy to answer any additional questions about the hostel or the city. Such a nice spot to just walk to everything from! Would def stay in again.

This was my first hostel experience, and I honestly loved it! HI New Orleans was clean, modern, comfortable, and well organized. I loved having privacy curtains, individual lockers, and outlets at each bed. The location was convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I was nervous about my first shared-room experience, but everything went smoothly. I would definitely stay here again!

The property is very pretty. I did ask for a bed refresh the first day and no one did it, my comfort had a ripped zipper. The comforter did not get changed until i found housekeeping.

Absolutely perfect. Came solo and loved it. Everyone was nice. Place was spotless. Amenities are nice and useful. Right in the heart of downtown too without feeling dangerous. Parking is the only bad thing. No parking at all. Have to pay for outside parking which is around $40 a day at the garage

The room smelled like molded wet towels. I really got a room just to sleep before driving back after the concert, but I just didn’t feel it was clean before my arrival. Staff was great one lady taught me how to ride the transit to get to my concert.

We had a great time before our cruise. This room had a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. It was great for us, since we had two adult children with us. The bunk beds were very tall.

The bed was very comfortable! I would not recommend the top bunk, if you are older than 20. The laundry room needs some way to track the people that are using the machines as the staff was not willing to manage taking out guest clothes when they were not prompt to remove from machines. Overall I would stay there again it was convenient. Bring a sleeping eye mask if you need a nap during the day hours.
