We wanted somewhere within walking distance of the French Quarter, but away from the craziness. This house fit the bill. It was immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The "welcome basket" was appreciated!The property is "pretty quiet" for New Orleans. There were lots of cars that drove by with their radio cranked up all the way, but this is an urban environment. I liked the horse and carriages that clip-clopped past.We felt relatively safe here as well, despite the fact 10 inmates had just escaped from the New Orleans jail down the street. The property absolutely lived up to expectations! The location was close enough to walk to places like Jackson Square and bourbon street. Also has both bus and train lines within 2 very short clocks.Everyone we encountered in theneighborhood was super friendly as well. Bonus: I hurt my knee on the cruise. The house had a cane for me to be able to get around the city. That was an unexpected, amazing bonus for us. THANK YOU FOR HAVING US ##### David R. This property is amazing! It is fully stocked, spacious and beautifully decorated. Our party of 10 had enough space to sleep comfortably. This house was so incredible and a perfect fit for 9 of us celebrating Halloween and our first visit to NOLA. The location was great and within walking distance of so many places. The owners were quick to reply to inquiries and so helpful. They even left a nice welcome basket. Such a treat! The rooms were spacious and there were plenty of bathrooms. I will book here again. The decor was so beautiful and everything so clean. We had a party of 9 for my bachelorette & it fit everyone perfectly. They even had enough linens and towels for us. The house had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in every bathroom! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast. We arrived to a cute little welcome package! From the minute we walked in, we fell in love with the design and ambiance of the home. We were really impressed with how much thought and care the home was designed with and the whole home looked very cool, classic, and comfortable. Our hosts, Chis & Caroline were great and communicated well leading up to the trip. We were pleased to find that the home was well stocked (kitchen had all the basic utensils; bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash; there were plenty of extra linen and towels) and the location of the home was in a quiet neighborhood that was walking distance or a short car ride from anywhere you might want to go. If you're looking for a welcoming and unique place to stay in New Orleans, you've found it! ##### Debra K. We had four couples stay in this lovely home for a weekend and it was wonderful! The house is exactly as pictured, spacious enough for four couples comfortably. The neighborhood is great. Walking distance to a nice grocery store. It was chilly so we Uber'ed everywhere, but I think we could have walked to the French Quarter. Beautifullly decorated. Everything was comfy, we really enjoyed our stay. Having two living rooms downstairs was helpful. Would definitely recommend, and would love to stay here again. ##### Yvonne R. The location was very convenient for all of the activities that took place in the Bywater. Also an easy walk to the Quarter. The beds were comfy and bathrooms were well stocked with extra supplies. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was clean and in good working order. I would recommend adding a few extra coffee cups though:) The owner was very prompt with responses to questions. First time in NOLA for my bachelorette weekend, and this house was perfect for it. It’s is super gorgeous, thoughtfully designed and very clean. The beds are comfortable and we had enough room for all 8 of us. The host is very nice and accommodating, he let some of us drop off our bags before check in, and keep some bags later after check out. That was helpful since all of us had staggered flight times.
