It is still a gem in a great area away from the craziness that is sometimes New Orleans. It is comfortable and as advertised. Near great places to eat and (especially if you have a car) convenient to places to visit. ##### Alan H. It was the perfect location for us, it was so central to everything. We were within 15 min of wherever we wanted to go. The house is so quaint and beautiful, full of character. The on street parking was plentiful but we used their private driveway to park. Check in and check out was super simple. We felt very safe and enjoyed the easy access to the trolley to take us to the convention center and french quarter.
