Our room was cute and they thought of details like water, dark make-up washcloths, and hot water tea kettle (more helpful and sanitary) for coffee or tea. The property was bigger than I realized and I loved walking through the tree lined path down to the pool area. The bar/restaurant is well decorated and chic. The menu is small (but elevated bar food, i.e. hummus, charcuterie, pulled pork quesadilla, etc.) and the drinks were great. This would be an amazing place for a family reunion or o host your wedding party. My daughter and I plan to visit again!

The Wimberley Inn & Bar is a charming property nestled amongst heritage live oak trees in a hill country setting. It offers updated rooms, beautiful pool, and a quaint bar for drinks and light fare. We definitely recommend it to others looking for a tranquil atmosphere to relax and unwind. The staff is friendly and welcoming. If I had to give any suggestions to owners/managers, it would be to check the pool each morning to ensure the grounds and bathrooms are clean. Clothing and plastic cups were left behind from following evening and one the bathrooms needed attention. Our understanding is the pool is available to hotel guests and others who pay membership. Thank you.

Great spot! Nice and clean room - nothing fancy, would have loved to have had a balcony or patio option. The pool is fine but there is no music by the pool so that was a little annoying, you were forced to listen to the other guests conversations! Otherwise it was good and you can walk into town - BUT you will be walking along the highway, so its not for everyone.

Wimberley is such a nice, quirky town. This place was good as it is walking distance into the square. Nicely decorated rooms even though it is very noisy from outside and neighboring room’s aircon. The pool area is very nice. Staff is very friendly and service minded. We could stay again!

The setting was serene, with several patios to enjoy coffee or wine. I loved the natural hilly, tree covered landscape, complete with squirrels, deer and raccoons. A couple of suggestions to the owners: have bottled water available to your guests, not tap water in a bottle. The tap water is nasty! And a makeup mirror for your lady guests would be welcome… or at least a table and chair for us to sit and apply with our own mirror. Otherwise, I loved the resort and the staff was extremely nice and accommodating.

It’s a cute small inn hotel, I wouldn’t stay in the rooms over the bar again, they were far too loud from the bar with music every night and an ac unit in the window that allowed all the street noise in. The room needs some updated blackout curtains to keep it darker at night as well. The location is great and close to downtown square.
