Intercontinental Bordeaux Le Grand Hotel by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Thank you. The hotel and staff are great."

Moxy Bordeaux Hotel

8/10 Good

"Great location, good hotel, overall recommend this property. Only low points, the toilet bowl was stained and the cleaning crew opened the door even though we said no. A part from that, brilliant stay"

Victoria Garden Bordeaux Centre

8/10 Good

"The room and property were well appointed and a short walk from the square. Quiet and easy check-in. Had a bit of a snafu but management took care to resolve it quickly. Nothing fancy, but tidy and everything you’d need."

Radisson Hotel Bordeaux Saint Jean

10/10 Excellent

"Clean"

Hilton Garden Inn Bordeaux Centre

10/10 Excellent

"Nice overall, clean, comfortable and friendly cheerful staff. A bit far from the city centre, but we used the taxi and the car. We parked on the street, parking night was free and we were able to prepay in advance for 1-2 hours for the pay-parking which starts at 9:00 in the morning"

Campanile Bordeaux Ouest Mérignac Aéroport

8/10 Good

"Airport hotel did the job for one night"

B&B HOTEL BORDEAUX Centre Gare St-Jean

8/10 Good

"Stay was fine -- room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is a bit of a hike from the train station and not much around for dining -- you have to taxi in to around the train station for a decent meal. Staff were helpful."

Le M & Spa Bordeaux Aéroport by Hôtels & Préférence

10/10 Excellent

"Very convenient for Airport as Tram 2 stops, and hotel stop just 100 meters walk. Easy check-in, Pool was handy as 34C when we stayed. Lifts good, Aircon worked (just)but controls a bit weird. Kitchenet was handy with pod coffee machine, fridge, microwave and hob, plus all the crockery you will need. A nice big room and bed, with blackout curtains. All in all, a very pleasant 5 nights, especially after hot days walking in the city and amazing waterfront. Though you need your wits, with some narrow pavements and poorly marked bike lanes. My wife lost a pair of prescription designer sunglasses, we thought in the city after a boozy (Margeaux for 40 Euro!) dinner in one of the wonderful alfresco squares (doom and gloom) The room cleaner found them, they sent email and posted them to us at cost postage fee DHL. So pleased as £££! to replace. Tram,(line A) buy a week one, bargain at 29 euro unlimited hop on off trips. We usually hire a car(saved £300 and hassle), but thought as Bordeaux is a cars not wanted city, let's give it a go. We really enjoyed it, though 40 mins into city and many stops, it was never that busy and no trouble and a nice change from driving, traveling with the locals and seeing the city go by.. Tram 2 Stops from hotel to a giant Carrefour and shopping Centre, a must visit, its vast, and amazing wine selection."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Nerigean?

The best area to stay in Nerigean is the town centre, particularly around the Place de l'Église. This area forms the historic heart of Nerigean, centred around the beautiful 12th-century Église Saint-Martin. You'll find a selection of local shops, traditional bakeries, and small, family-run restaurants within easy walking distance. The streets here are generally narrow and winding, superb for a leisurely stroll, and many properties offer views of the surrounding vineyards.Couples looking for a peaceful and authentic French experience will find the town centre ideal. It offers a relaxed pace, with opportunities to enjoy local wines at nearby cellars and dine at charming bistros. The proximity to the church and its historic square creates a truly picturesque setting for a romantic getaway. For those seeking a quiet retreat with convenient access to the wider Nouvelle region, staying on the outskirts of the town centre, particularly along the D18 road, can be a good option.

When is the best time to go to Nerigean?

The best time to go to Nerigean is during the late spring (May-June) or early autumn (September-October) for pleasant weather and fewer crowds.During these months, the weather is typically warm and sunny, ideal for exploring the vineyards and historic sites without the intense heat of mid-summer. You'll find the countryside is at its most beautiful, with blossoming flowers in spring or the rich colours of the harvest season in autumn. This period also avoids the peak tourist season of July and August, meaning attractions are less crowded and accommodation might offer better value. For those keen on experiencing the wine harvest, late September to early October is an excellent choice. Many vineyards offer special tours and tastings during this time, providing a unique insight into the region's winemaking traditions. It's a fantastic opportunity for couples to enjoy romantic vineyard strolls and exclusive cellar visits. If your priority is guaranteed sunshine and you don't mind sharing the sights with more visitors, July and August offer the warmest temperatures.
