"A well equipped room with an excellent bed, large TV, fridge and good shower. The room was tastefully decorated and of a decent size. I really appreciated the welcome gifts of biscuits, water and milk too. Breakfast was excellent and a very generous portion. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. I would also recommend the evening meals and good selection of ales - both of which were high quality. "

"Not a bad place, room was a nice size with comfy bed, tea/coffee making, nice bathroom. Checkin/out very easy. Ample free parking. Good bar and restraunt. Staff very friendly and helpful."

"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"The customer service was excellent/very helpful and friendly staff Very clean rooms and throughout the hotel. Food options were excellent. The decoration in the rooms were contemporary,however the rooms/bathrooms could do with a refurb,they looked very tired. The shower was very old school and the water wasn’t very hot. Having said all of that I would go back again."
