Our room was lovely and overlooked the sea and beach. Breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is quiet. There is a restaurant and bar. Location is good, on the beach, and and easy walk to to town.

Loved our stay at ippokampos! Great sized room, right on the beach everything was beautiful. The breakfast was lovely and all the staff were so kind. The only issue we ran into was there was limited hot water - which seems to be pretty common on the island. Would definitely stay again ❤️

An absolutely beautiful spot in Naxos, right on the beach with beach access. It features a beautiful sandy beach and smooth sand as far as you can walk out in the water. The rooms need a little TLC (our bathroom door handle fell off lol) but still fantastic rooms. Great staff, delicious food and a quick walk to the heart of Naxos's old town. I would go back in a second and highly recommend the Ippokampos Hotel!!!

Great location on great area of the beach. The complimentary cook to order breakfast was great. Right on the beach with access to beach loungers and umbrellas. Drink and food service on the beach. The water is shallow and great for kids. Walk to downtown Naxos and port is only 10-15mins. Will stay here again when we return!

Lovely hotel on the beach, the restaurant and area is very nice location to the main town area. The food is very good, staff is friendly. The sea view room is a little out dated but clean. There is no phone in the room so you have to go to reception for any device. Overall, nice stay would recommend especially for the price.

Really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were as advertised and the staff were very friendly. The real selling point was its access to the beach. Directly across the road from a gorgeous beach, with the hotel offering 50% off beach lounges for guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great location with beach chairs/beds available. Great breakfast options with seating beside the beach. Our room appears to have been in the older section of the hotel and could use some updating, it was rustic with a beach vibe, Hotel Location was amazing. On the beach and within a 2 minute walk of the many restaurants and shopping area. Air conditions was great and meet my North American standards. Nick our beach attendant was excellent and the main bar person (sorry I forgot her name) was absolutely amazing and did everything from serving breakfast, ordering car transfers and providing recommendations.

The Ippokampos is always a joy to visit. The hotel on the beachfront is about a good a location as one could hope to find in Chora. Breakfasts are excellent whether served inside or at the table the beach, guests get beach towels and a discount on loungers. the staff are wonderful -- especially Dimitra. The apartments are also excellent. Farther from the beach (less than 10 minute walk), but very comfortable and conveniently located for everything in Chora.

The Staff and location for this hotel were amazing. the restaurant was delicious. had breakfast and great coffee daily. The beach in front of the hotel was one of the better beaches on the island. and the umbrellas were discounted for patrons. the room sizes are small. like really small. but, the staff was great and very accommodating. parking was always available. easy walk to around the main town.

We had a wonderful stay at Ippokampos Beachfront Hotel. The location is unbeatable right on the beach and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and Chora. The breakfast was excellent and included with plenty of options, and the 50% discount on the beach loungers was a great bonus. The only downside was the mattresses. They were worn out and not comfortable, and after four nights we both ended up with backaches. Replacing the mattresses would make a big difference. Overall, a great hotel with an amazing location, and we would definitely stay here again.

Ideal Naxos Location & Exceptional Food, But Room & Wi-Fi Quirks The Good: • Perfect Beachfront & Logistics: Staying right on Saint George Beach was fantastic. We rented a car and had zero issues thanks to the plenty of parking at the hotel. It is a very short, effortless drive to the local airport, and major car rental spots like Avis and Budget are a short 5-minute walk from the property if you need to pick up a vehicle. • Serene Breakfast Experience: The daily breakfast was a massive highlight. We enjoyed peaceful, serene breakfasts outside right by the beach. The ladies serving breakfast were incredibly nice, and you can even ask them for fresh cappuccinos instead of standard drip coffee. The selection offered three distinct spreads every day: Continental, American, and a traditional Greek option. • Great Beach Amenities: The beach itself is fully serviced by the hotel bar, making it easy to order cocktails or snacks right to your spot. While the beach loungers cost €30, the hotel provides a 50% discount for guests (€15). • Flawless Service & Smooth Arrival: Check-in was quick and easy. The housekeeping team did a wonderful job with the daily room turn-down service, they provided 3 complimentary water bottles, and we deeply appreciated having fresh beach towels provided for us every single day. • Perfect Base for Exploring: Visiting in October meant the area was beautifully quiet and relaxing.
