"I visit Wash, DC for business several times a year. Usually I stay at hotels near Crystal City however, now I'll stay in SE DC at the Residence Inn Marriott. For me its location near the Navy Yard and the surrounding area are great. Easy to go to Reagan National by Metro or Uber."

"This is the second time we stayed at the Thompson Washington D.C. We really appreciated the staff and everyone was friendly. Monique provided immediate assistance in fixing our safe and addressing another small issue. The breakfast was excellent and Allan, Lulu, and Andrew were extremely friendly and a great way to start the day with their greeting. The location is excellent and close to the metro or within walking distance if you choose. We will definitely return again when in DC!"

"This hotel is in a safe and clean neighborhood across from stadiums. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, and bars all walking distance. Navy Yard is mostly a young professionals neighborhood with tall luxury apartments so you see a lot of them walking their dogs. There are two metro stations really close by and it is only about a 15-20 drive from DCA. The king suite was spacious and perfect for two adults and one kid. "

"The rooms are a nice size and very clean (I am very picky). The staff is helpful. We had a small issue with our room and the staff took care of it quickly. It is a 15 minute walk to the Mall/Smithsonian. A 2 minute walk to the Spy museum. There is a food court and some restaurants across the driveway and down an escalator. The Warf has some great food places too and it is about a 10 minute walk but you have to go down/up quite a few stairs. Very convenient location."

"Everything that was in the staff's control was wonderful! The hotel is going through renovations so floors 5 through 7 I believe, some lobby areas and the hot tub down for cleaning. Room temperature control very convenient and worked! Very safe and secure area! 3 to 4 blocks from the national Mall. Spent 5 days. Mini Mart in lobby area open late ngt. I ended up walking everywhere 20 minute walk to monument and 10 minute walk to Capital. "

"Fantastic staff! Great amenities for a smaller hotel. The only thing that was a negative was it’s a bit of a dangerous area (Navy Yard) and lots of huge rats in the neighborhood!! "

"The room, hallways and common areas were clean the beds were super comfortable. They constantly checked in to see if everything was okay. Marcus and Melisa were great as well as the front desk personnel. Grateful for there service and commitment to excellence. Close to metro and various museums to include the Museum of The Bible. We were in town to see the theatre production of “God meant it For Good” amazing production and outstanding stay at the Holiday Inn. "

"Our stay at the Hyatt in DC/National Mall was excellent. Facility and rooms were clean and comfortable; gym had adequate weights and equipment and was very clean; breakfast was provided in your stay and was above average for free hotel breakfasts; location was excellent for walking to L'Enfant metro stop, the waterfront for dining/shopping, and museums; and staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful. This was my 2nd stay there and I'd go there again."
