Quiet location yet close to plenty of attractions!

Posted 12-Apr-2016
Pros: Has the most comfortable beds and pillows ever!!!!
Location: Opry Mills Mall is a short drive from this location. Highly recommend the General Jackson dinner cruise.
We made reservations for The Grand Ole Opry and The General Jackson Dinner Cruise and show. We were less than 5 minutes away from each location. Walking distance from restaurants. Loved the Johnny Cash Museum!! Will definitely return!!!

Why stay in a hotel room?

Posted 01-Apr-2016
When you can stay in your own Nashville apartment! On business at Gaylord Opryland, I had my own little space where I could retire from the noise of the convention. I had a refrigerator full of healthy foods so I didn't have to eat fast food, I had a quiet space to work -and a washer and dryer so I went home with all CLEAN clothes!!! Loved it! (And I had fresh flowers, too!)

huge room

Posted 25-Dec-2015
Pros: Room size and location
Cons: I wish they had been more upfront as to the fact they were offering a gift and breakfast in exchange for a sales presentation.
Location: Directly adjacent to the Opryland complex.
These are timeshare spaces that are re-leased through Expedia. The 'concierge' are actually salespeople who will offer free breakfast and a gift card for you to sit through a sales presentation. Otherwise, we got a 2 room suite for similar price of a hotel room. The rooms are kind of like a small condo, with full kitchen, refrigerator, in room washer and dryer. Everything was clean and neat. They don't have room service that cleans the rooms every night. The room was great, we would definitely use this hotel again. Would probably skip the sales presentation though, it took 2.5 hours and they were very pushy.

We travel regularly for business and Wyndhams are notoriously very high quality resorts to stay at. The overall experience at this Wyndham was adequate but the unit itself definitely needed some serious updating in the bathrooms. The linoleum tile floors were lifting, the very cheap cabinet was falling apart and delaminating, and the shower was horrible. It was very clean and close to the Gaylord convention center where our business events were; so close that I walked one day. The other negative was that this set of units didn't have an elevator and we were on the 3rd floor.

It is really close to everything. Loved that it has a stove, sink and refrigerator. Very comfortable and the hot tub and pool are open until 11 so it was great for after a day of sightseeing.

The room was clean and big. The free wifi could only check email, if you wanted to watch a video you had to pay 10.00 a day for faster internet. Bed was hard as a rock, back and neck killing me and we were only there 3 nights. Shower/tub wouldn't drain, but they did fix that.

A great experince

We went to Nashville to visit our son and his wife. So I picked they Wyndham. They have been doing some renovating and we were able to get one of the newly remodeled 1 bedroom suites. Extremely comfortable and roomy. The concierge was extremely nice and helpful as were the rest of the staff. It will be my go to place whenever I am in Nashville
