huge room

Posted 25-Dec-2015
Pros: Room size and location
Cons: I wish they had been more upfront as to the fact they were offering a gift and breakfast in exchange for a sales presentation.
Location: Directly adjacent to the Opryland complex.
These are timeshare spaces that are re-leased through Expedia. The 'concierge' are actually salespeople who will offer free breakfast and a gift card for you to sit through a sales presentation. Otherwise, we got a 2 room suite for similar price of a hotel room. The rooms are kind of like a small condo, with full kitchen, refrigerator, in room washer and dryer. Everything was clean and neat. They don't have room service that cleans the rooms every night. The room was great, we would definitely use this hotel again. Would probably skip the sales presentation though, it took 2.5 hours and they were very pushy.

It is really close to everything. Loved that it has a stove, sink and refrigerator. Very comfortable and the hot tub and pool are open until 11 so it was great for after a day of sightseeing.

Restless

The room was clean and big. The free wifi could only check email, if you wanted to watch a video you had to pay 10.00 a day for faster internet. Bed was hard as a rock, back and neck killing me and we were only there 3 nights. Shower/tub wouldn't drain, but they did fix that.

A great experince

We went to Nashville to visit our son and his wife. So I picked they Wyndham. They have been doing some renovating and we were able to get one of the newly remodeled 1 bedroom suites. Extremely comfortable and roomy. The concierge was extremely nice and helpful as were the rest of the staff. It will be my go to place whenever I am in Nashville

Okay I suppose

The room was nice, although it did have that old hotel smell. Maybe the carpets were really old? They have a tablet in the room for you, but unfortunately it is just filled with advertisements, and you can't use it for anything. We stayed on the second floor out of four) and we got zero 4G signal. Wouldn't be so bad if they didn't charge you an arm and a leg for wi-fi. Lots, and I mean LOTS of older people. My wife and I are in our late 30's, but it looked like a retirement community up there. They had a lot of activities that seem to be targeting that age group. Which is fine, I have no problem with that, I was not aware that was the type of clientele they were looking for. Would I go back? No. But that doesn't mean its right up someone elses alley.

Room was spacious and up to date. The staff was very nice and the opry and mall was just around the corner.

The room was not very clean at all; I could hear the conversations from the adjacent room as if they were in my room. I could not connect to the internet and the front desk would not give me a new code; they expected me to call their 1-800 number and trouble shoot this myself first. I did call the number and after 40 minutes on the phone I still could not connetc. I lost 48 hours of valuable work time due to no internet service. I went to iron my clothes for a meeting and the ironing board was broken. Lots of dust in the suite-not clean at all.

Close to everything

Posted 15-Oct-2015
Pros: Location, everything.
Cons: Nothing
The Grand Ole Opry and The a General Jackson boat cruise are right across the road. Both were wonderful experiences. Wyndham has a shuttle to downtown Nashville every hour which was great. Very enjoyable stay!
