Getting Around: Walking from East Nashville to the other parts of Nashville is pretty much out of the question. You may wish to walk the 3.3 miles to downtown, but we recommend taking an Uber or Lyft (super cheap) if you're not renting a car. We all agreed the location was in a pretty good spot. The surrounding area isn't too crowded but is close enough to many of the areas we were visiting. Communication with the host was very fast and the information they provided us was easily understood. The home was stocked with everything we needed and the furnishings were up to date. The only thing to consider is if you're a light sleeper, the backyard is close to an active railway. While the noise generated from passing trains is not earth shaking it may wake up a light sleeper. This trip was planned for a 73 year old gentleman that has Cerbral Palsey. It was his dream to go to Nashville. Once, i explained to Paige my needs for the trip, she was wonderful to work with gave suggestions on how best to see Nashville. We loved the trundle beds. Awesome to have a place where every kid could have their own bed and the couch could be used as a couch! Close to multiple grocery and convenience stores. Such a cute and cozy home. Neighborhood is nice and quiet. We had a family of 5 here for an 7 day stay. It worked perfectly. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. We came for a sports tournament and we played in Hendersonville which was not far from the area. Not far from downtown Nashville either!
