Publix is also a mile away. There is also a full service, locally owned grocery store called Turnip Truck that is 2 miles away. Roy’s Meat Service is a family owned butcher shop with high quality meat if you are cooking in or they offer tasty meat and three. Restaurants & Bars Coffee: • Ugly Mugs – my personal favorite is the Hoodie • Dose – great coffee, pastries, and biscuits • Barista Parlor – great lattes and biscuits • East Park – great coffee & donuts • Starbucks - in the Publix parking lot Eat: • Five Daughter's Bakery – shares a patio with Ugly Mugs! • Mitchell's Delicatessen – the turkey bacon avocado is my favorite • Hunter's Station – a modern food court with Nashville’s best under one roof • Lockeland Table – an elevated dinner spot • Velvet Taco - fresh, funky, fast casual Mex • Hawkers - Asian Street food & cocktails with great vibes • Bar Taco – upscale street food, tacos, and cocktails • Edley's BBQ - best BBQ, sides and even better bushwhackers • NoKo - best brunch, Asian Inspired • Red Headed Stranger - Fresh Tex mex • The Pharmacy - best burger and craft beers bar none • Butcher and Bee-exceptionally fresh farm to table • Husk - charming with homegrown southern classics • Nobles - sports bar, pool tables, darts, meat & 3 • Tower Deli - large variety of deli sandwiches featuring Boar’s Head meats • Sho Pizza Bar – wonderful pizza and cocktails with a great atmosphere. • Golden Prawn #3 – nostalgic Chinese takeout spot • Nicoletto’s Italian Kitchen – delicious Italian takeout • Dino’s Bar & Grill – LATE NIGHT dive bar with good greasy spoon items such as hamburgers, grilled cheese, and delicious chicken sandwich comparable to Chick Fil A • The Wash – great option for takeout with several choices. East Side Pho is my favorite • Bite a Bit Thai & Sushi – great food, cocktails, and atmosphere • Café Roze – great brunch spot • Chicago Chicken & Waffle – great food Drink: • Walden – frozen cocktails, cool graffiti wall • Urban Cowboy – craft cocktails and a large patio • Rosepepper Cantina – strong margs and cool letter board outside • Skinny Dennis – great music and good bar food. Pool tables. Literally walk out the front door and less than ½ mile there. • Five Points Area – several bars together within walking distance to each other.
