Country living just 3 miles from Gallatin Square!
This 1949 home was completely updated in 2020 and sits on 1.3 acres of beautifully treed property just 2 miles outside Gallatin city limits. Perfect for work and pleasure. Big enough for three professionals to share, perfect size for families and friends to gather, small enough for singles and couples to feel cozy and at home. Anyone who loves nature will love this property! Plus, you can arrive with just your suitcase, clothes, shoes, and groceries, and we’ve got the rest covered!
This home boasts an open floor plan from kitchen to dining room to living room with stunning pine ceilings and original wood floors on most of the main level.
New kitchen is fully equipped for quick meals or gourmet dinners; filled with dishes, tools, and cookware, with quartz countertops, full-size LG appliances, including gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, and in-door ice & water refrigerator, plus a mini-fridge for extra drinks. Full-size washer and dryer and all utilities are also included, along with 250mbps high-speed fiber internet for work, gaming, or streaming.
There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, with the primary suite on the main level and junior suite upstairs, both with ensuite bathrooms. All bedrooms have queen beds and large closets with plenty of hangers. There is also an office area with desk, chair, and extra monitor upstairs, along with an area for yoga, exercising, gaming, or whatever else you wish to use it for.
Owners live on the adjacent 10.7-acre property, which is like a beautiful park enclosed in trees, with a small pond and creek (when it rains); open to you for a peaceful walk in nature anytime. There is also plenty of outdoor space for watching the sunset, grilling, outdoor games, or playing with the kids.
And, if you have friends with an RV who want to visit for a couple days, there is even an RV pad with full hook-ups we have for rent separately. It’s awesome to be so close to the city and still be able to enjoy an evening around a real campfire, while gazing up at the stars.
We will be happy to share with you all the amazing places nearby to go for live music and great food, and we are also hoping you have time to enjoy Tennessee for its natural beauty. We have been told that there are more waterfalls here in Tennessee than any other state in the nation, and the ones we have seen so far are gorgeous! There are also tons of water sports, parks, hunting, and more history than anyone can learn about in a lifetime.
Here, you’ll be able to enjoy all the comforts of home with tons of added conveniences!
We are approx 35 minutes from the airport and you will need a vehicle to get here.
Looking forward to hosting your group!

Check-In Notes: Check-In time is 3PM
Entry & Security: A Ring camera is located at the side-door entrance. It is exterior-only and records video and audio for the security of our guests and property. If you need assistance with entry or exit, press the button on the Ring camera to call us, or you can call us directly.
Occupancy & Registered Guests: Maximum of 6 guests. Only registered guests whose first and last names have been provided are permitted on the property. All guests 18 and older must have a state or federally issued ID.
Luggage: Once inside, you may find it easier to unlock and use the front door for luggage, as there are fewer stairs and corners. Please use whichever entrance works best and take care not to bump or damage the walls.
Shoes: Please remove shoes just inside the entrance doors to help keep our floors and carpets clean.
No Pets: Pets are strictly prohibited under any circumstances. We love pets, but past experiences require a firm no-pet policy.
Driveway: There's plenty of parking for all. Please leave driveway clear so that trash truck and Amazon can get through to the left of the garage.
No Smoking, Vaping, Diffusers, or Incense: Smoking & vaping is prohibited in the house & within 15’ of windows or doors. All cigarette/cigar/vaping materials are to be safely extinguished & disposed of in the trash; not on the ground. Diffusers and incense are also not allowed in the house.
No Drugs or Parties: Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited. Parties of any kind are not allowed.
Septic System – Very Important: The house is on a septic system. That means water, soap, body waste, & septic-safe toilet paper are the only things that go down the drain. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please also refrain from putting grease, cooking oils, or seeds of any kind down the disposal. Trash cans with bags & lids are provided for tampons, pads, diapers, wipes & “flushable” wipes, tissues, and anything else.
Trash: Because there are critters, please also make sure any trash goes INSIDE black trash bags inside trash cans, as they like to go through any trash left outside the trash cans & spread it all over. If you run out of room in the trash cans, please bring trash down to our trash cans. Do not, under any circumstances, leave trash outside the trash cans. Trash pickup is approximately 7AM Tuesdays. There are additional bags under the grill. Please replace bags before placing any more trash in the bins as the trash guy requires use of the large black trash bags or he won’t take it.
Country Living & Wildlife: This is a farming community, so you will hear tractors and heavy equipment nearby. Additionally, you may see & hear dogs, cats, deer, coyotes, foxes, raccoons, chickens, roosters, cows, horses, donkeys, and the like on our property. These animals do not belong to us, nor are they under our care or control, so please steer clear; only admiring them from a distance. Do not approach, feed, or attempt to handle them.
Keep Doors Closed: Please keep exterior doors closed when you are not actively entering or exiting to help keep unwanted critters and bugs outside.
Explore at Your Own Risk: The full 12 acres is available for a peaceful nature walk, but keep in mind that terrain is uneven with loose soil and there may be wildlife, falling/fallen trees, and many other outdoor hazards. Enjoying the property is done so AT YOUR OWN RISK. We are NOT responsible in any way for trips, falls, or any other injuries.
Pillows & Blankets: Additional pillows and blankets are available in the bedroom closets.
Ice: Extra ice is in the refrigerator’s bottom freezer. If you need more, just give us a call. We have an ice machine at our house and are happy to share.
Need Something?: If there's anything missing that would make your stay more comfortable, please reach out! We may have it at our house and would be happy to bring it up for you.
Photos with Mater: Want a fun keepsake from your visit? We'd love to take a few photos of you and your crew with Mater, our 1951 Ford truck, or at another favorite spot on the property. Just ask! We're happy to be your photographers!
