"So I got in at 10PM on a Friday. Dropped my bags and wanted to go hit a bar. Alexis gave me a place called Santos in the same area of Escazu. While taking an uber home, I left my phone in the uber upon getting back to the Hostel. Alexis was so helpful the next day. He made sure to get in contact with the Uber driver as well as the bar owner. The uber driver did not find my Phone at first. I was literally on my way to my next destination a mile away in a taxi Alexis arranged and Alexis called...

"Location was good for needing to get to airport quickly. Upon initial entry to room everything looked nice and clean. Dropped luggage and then promptly left to see friend. When returning later found that the sheets were covered in hairs...probably dog or cat, at least that is what I hope it was. Grossed out but it was late at night and not in mood to have it changed. Swapped beds with friend."

"The staff were very helpful and the rooms were large and comfortable. We arrived late at night and found the area the hostel to be quite sketchy. I would not recommend walking the streets at night. The hostel itself felt very safe though. Great place to stay if you are looking for something cheap near the airport. "

"We were in Grecia to celebrate our anniversary and visit friends. Villa Cipreses was an oasis in a hot and humid land. Our room was dated but clean and although they advertised air conditioning there was none. Fortunately we had our own fan with us so we were able to stay comfortable. The restaurant was great and we enjoyed the overall beauty of the blue hydrangeas and other plantings on the property. the owners of the property seem surprised when we arrived but they did provide accommodations...

"This place is CLOSED yet hotels.com keeps offering it online. I booked through hotels.com as part of my trip and when I got their and the hotel was no longer in operation, and it was a nightmare dealing with hotels.com. They are pushy and it is a mess. When I started demanding my money back, a pushy person who spoke broken English called to sell me ANOTHER hotel, but refused to give me my money back. I am realizing hotels.com is a racket."

"Room without window, terrible light. Reception was like the living room of the family, where they looked TV what we heard. The hostel was located in a main road, very loud. We had to open 2 gates and 2 doors to get in our room. We felt like being in a jail. Much too expensive!!!"

"For reference we stayed in Atenas Costa Rica April 14th through April 19th. The house is gorgeous, and the view from the backyard is stunning. On two separate occasions toucans came to the tree in the backyard to feed on the berries. We also had 6 head of cows/ bulls wander up one morning while we enjoyed coffee on the back porch. "Modern, up-to-date apartmanets, great lay out, lots of light anf life, convieniently located, great dining places in the same block, one small market in the same mall area and bigger grocery store near by, fantastic service by every single staffer, Rebeca is a sweetheart, and Kellyana is on top of things. I go to CR every year once year and always go to a different place, but from now own, Apartamentos Cityzen will be my Tico-Home."
