"We had a lovely time here! We were travelling by public transport, and this spot is a little of out of the way, but they sent a shuttle to the train station and it was easy to arrive. It was not clear from their website that the restaurant would not be open for dinner, and the closest restaurant by foot (other than McDonald's) was a 30 minute walk away. That was no problem; we had a nice walk, a great dinner, and really loved the onsen!"

"It was my first time staying in a ryokan and I had a wonderful experience. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. It feels serene surrounded by nature, along with the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The dinner and breakfast were also extraordinary."

"Overall property was excellent and location was great within walking distance to all the famous temples in Nara Park. However when requesting a taxi to take us back to the train station it took longer than expected and we missed our train departure. Also taxi/car is limited as the hotel is located directly in the park. Walking is faster but with heavy luggage it’s not very convenient."

"I went here as a single traveller with little to Japanese language skills and found it amazing. Though the staff had limited English, everything was communicated well and I felt very welcomed and comfortable. It’s very close to all the main attractions of Nara, but out of the way enough to where you’re not surrounded by people all the time. If I ever go back to Nara, I will certainly stay here again. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at APA Osaka. It was an easy check-in through the machines in the lobby. The room was clean and a wide selection of amenities was provided. We were unable to use the pool/spa because my partner is tattooed, but no worries there. Though we elected to not have our room serviced, they dropped off clean towels every evening for us at our door. It was a great location with plenty to do nearby (we LOVED Osaru coffee) and close to the station. We would absolutely stay at an APA again, especially APA Osaka. The elevators do get busy during peak morning and evening times but there are plenty so you never wait long."
"Overall a great stay. Just one serious issue the power scenario in the room was terrible - only 1 USB port could be used at a time (2 total). Type 2 outlet only - so if you are equiped for Tokyo where type 1 seems to prevail you are in big trouble. To boot they even told us only 1 ‘appliance could be used at a time’ this is well below par!!!"
"Absolutely beautiful hotel! It was located right next to a train station and family mart which was extremely helpful. The hotel had a free coffee and matcha machine which was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Japan. The room was clean, staff was helpful, and the checkout process was super easy."
"The hotel is located next to the major stations and shopping district. Very good for going up to take a short rest or dropping off the shoppings before going out again. Hotel connections to the shopping district is great with B1F going to the train station directly and 1/F and 2F going to the shops directly.
It is big and could be very busy during the week day. We find the weekend less busy! Hotel room is very quiet despite the lobby could be like a commercial building lobby sometimes.
There are a lot of self servicing machine and smart phone is essential.. there are limited staffs due to the use of self service machine."
