Breakfast was a bag in the fridge, varied, pouch of oatmeal, or muffin, cheese stick, oatmeal cream pie, and piece of fruit. Bags we’re not identical. Minimal but nice thought. Room was clean and nice except sound didn’t really work on tv, couldn’t turn up enough to hear it. Screen porch was needed because mosquitoes were everywhere. Had some in the room even with the screened porch. But that’s what Everglades are like. I’d stay here again, clean and easy place.

What a hidden lil paradise!! Great value, friendly chill staff (Jamie), sweet lil breakfast in the outdoor tiki, the restaurant was delicious! My only problem was with Expedia.. taking the payment on my card..when i was to pay at property. Highly recommend Port of the Islands Resort!!

Just stayed overnight. Out of mosquito season so screened porch was not used but would be great during the mosquito season. Definitely a dated facility but beds were fine and we enjoyed our short stay

RELAXING Southern Florida experience. Beautiful well kept property. The personal touch from the property manager is incredible. Escape life and land HERE. You don't have to leave the resort. Boating, restaurant, store, pool and palm trees. Always will be a repeat trip for us.

I spent 9 nights here in January. I used it as a base for exploring and fishing the Everglades. It’s very clean and peaceful. There is a new restaurant about to open on site which will be a great addition. The pool area was clean and a great place to chill after a day in the sun. The staff were very nice and helpful.

As we had an early kayak tour in the Everglades' mangroves, we stayed at this property for one night. This is a large hotel with 4 or five blocks of very comfortable little motels surrounding a nice pool, each with a little screened balcony.( That is where we were). The motels probably could use a little renovation but it was really clean, the staff was very friendly and we did not need more. There is a restaurant at the hotel but beside that, you need to hop in your car as the area is very residential.
