Recently renovated apartment on the fourth floor of an elegant building with elevator and doorman. The apartment consists of a living room with a dining table, a double sofa bed, and a TV. In the same room, there is an open-plan kitchen equipped with a microwave, a kettle, and a dishwasher. The sleeping area has two bedrooms, both equipped with a queen-size bed, a desk, a closet, and an ensuite bathroom with shower and hairdryer. \*Upon arrival or a few days before your arrival you may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy. "When you go to Naples you cry twice: when you arrive and when you leave," they say. Naples is a unique city, to be experienced by walking through the alleys, smelling the scent of gastronomic delicacies in the air, and admiring its rich artistic and monumental heritage. Naples has a distinctive culinary tradition for its famous Neapolitan pizza, and the art of its pizza makers has been declared an intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO. Strolling through Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts the city in half, one traverses its thousand-year history thanks to the presence of ancient palaces and churches, such as the Duomo di Napoli and the Maschio Angioino. If there is one place that symbolizes Naples, it is Piazza del Plebiscito, now a symbol of the new 'Neapolitan Renaissance' where tourists come to admire its grandeur and two jewels: the neoclassical colonnade of the church of San Francesco di Paola and the Royal Palace. This seems like an awful way to leave the customer when they have a problem which we did.Second, our apartment was surrounded with scaffolding for the workers who were working on the building. This meant that our large open door windows had to be closed all of the time, The workers could see in so we were exposed to thier stares. The views to the sea were totally blocked. The noise from the workers was terrible. The windows were filthy. This left us with a nice apartment but no privacy or view which is what I paid for. I sent two messages to the email address noted and of course got no response. If someone would have warned us of this mess so we could have made other arrangements or at least they should have told us of this problem so we could decide if we wanted the unit at a discount because of the false advertising. This trip was a gift for my daughter so you can imagine how I felt about the situation. As for the service and expectations I give this unit and owner a zero. ##### James B.
