Many decent restaurants within walking distance and the local market was very close. There was a really nice beach on the east coast within a 15 minute walk as well. "I enjoyed the moment that I stayed in the place. It is a private residential villa with staffs showing very nice hospitality. I stayed at the end of my vacation in Phuket and the place made me fully relaxed and refreshed thanks to its privacy and very clean rooms. The Wifi is fast and stable. Air conditioning with big ceiling fans is perfect to cool. The place is much bigger than you can imagine with the pics. I will visit again for my next vacation in Phuket."

"Property, although a bit dated makes up with excellent service. There was a sewage smell in the first room I was given which I believed was caused by torrential rains the area had been having. Hotel cleaning staff seem to have tried to mask it to best of their ability with heavily scented deodorizers to little help. Having said that, I think the smell is unavoidable and would likely be an issue at any coastal hotel, staff was graceful and moved me to another room. I found closing the toilet lid helps improve the situation and when rain stopped, so had the smell.
Other than that, facilities were good, food and service was excellent. I have enjoyed my stay. "
"We were upgraded to a Beachfront Pool Villa (thanks Vijitt!), and it was the most amazing setting. The private pool and view is magnificent, and the rooms are lovely. It was very private. We loved the beach, even though there are no waves, the quietness makes up for it."
"My family and I stayed here for nearly two weeks and had a wonderful experience. The staff were always helpful, friendly, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location is excellent—close to restaurants, supermarkets, and the ocean. For swimming, the best nearby beach is just a 10-minute drive away.

"Ideally located at the bottom of Kata beach just a few minutes walk either on the street/narrow paths or along the beach to where the majority of Kata restaurants and shops start.
Our room was well-appointed and with a bed that was big and comfortable. The view from our room was glorious, overlooking the pool and out to the ocean just what we had hoped for. More than anything though, it was the staff who made our stay so memorable. We found all the Chanalai staff courteous, respectful and willing to assist whenever needed. Nothing was too much trouble. A special shout out to poolside staff especially Bank. "
