Enjoy all of the comforts and conveniences of home right in the heart of the Submarine Capital of the World (Nautilus Park neighborhood of Groton, CT). This modern and spacious, (3) bedroom waterfront home is situated off Military Highway right on the Thames River. Explore the most popular landmarks of Groton including the U.S.S Nautilus Museum. It’s the perfect location to head out and visit an abundance of local attractions; such as Mystic, Stonington Borough, Watch Hill & Miscuamicut Beaches. Property is 15 minutes from Mohegan Sun & Foxwoods Resort Casino. Newly added Great Wolf Lodge at Foxwoods, plenty of fun for all ages! Enjoy submarines passing by the property docking at the Submarine Base. Truly an incredible experience! About the space/good to know: Beautiful Retreat centered around Rest, Relaxation & Respect. Beautifully updated, three bedroom private home, located along the Thames River! Bedroom on the main floor, king bed sleeps (2). Second bedroom has two queen beds, sleeps (4). Primary bedroom with king bed, sleeps (2). Primary bath connected with additional access for second bedroom from main hallway. Additional sleeping area off of the primary bedroom, sleeps (2). This is a private home rental with an in-law unit below. The deck and balcony are private to the reservation, lower level grounds are shared (i.e. riverfront deck on lower grounds). Owner lives onsite available for assistance. Prefers to give guests their privacy but will step in when guests violate rules (see additional details/info section on enforceable fees). Property manager available for assistance when owner is unavailable. Cameras onsite for security purposes only and are limited to the common areas (i.e. parking, and exterior sidewalks). No smoking in units. Smoking allowed outside. Keep grounds clear of smoking debris. Please be respectful. Other details to note: Transparency & respect of our home is expected when visiting. Please communicate your wants/needs prior to ensure our home is a good fit for you and your guests. Our top priority is your comfort. Strict enforcement on unit occupancy, (12) people maximum. The deck overlooking the river took everyone’s breath away. It was a perfect stay. Lots of room in the house. Clean and cozy. 15 minutes from Mohegan Sun. It was very relaxing but also very close for a day trip to Boston. We also enjoyed the town of Mystic. The house accommodated us. One child did sleep on an air mattress. The home is amazing - lots of windows looking out on the Thames River, 4 bedrooms as described, a well equipped kitchen, and a very large and comfortable open concept dining area & family room. The views are stunning, and the occasional train or boat going by was always fun to watch. There's also lots to explore in the area including a submarine museum in walking distance, and lots of amenities & restaurants within minutes by car. The house was very spacious and over looked the water. We also got to experience the navy play the national anthem every morning. You will need a car to drive to things as it’s not close to much . Beautiful location on the Thames. Right next to the Naval base, but very quiet - except for the 8 a.m. Star Spangled Banner ( loved it!). Very comfy and roomy. Beds were fair. Loved the pool table.
