The room smelled like people smoke in it (tons of cigarette butts on the patio just outside the sliding door). I put the AC on and it helped with smell. We stayed here for access to the pool and to visit the Aquarium the next day. For the $ this place's pool is better than the Hilton up the hill (and like 3Xs cheaper). I would stay again, at a good price (shoulder season), if it was for 1 night so the kids could swim but would change rooms if we got a smokey one.

Clean property. Easy parking and close to Mystic Village. Good water pressure in the shower. Staff was helpful. The first room offered to us has a buzzing sound and we got a new room right the way. It has all the basic you need - fridge, microwave, a safe etc, but nothing too fancy. Good when you are at the hotel for sleep.

The staff were nice. We chose to switch to a different hotel after we checked in. Our room had stains on the floor, furniture, and walls. The bathroom was untouchable and unsanitary. The gap between the wall and air conditioning unit was huge.

Great location, right off the highway. Close to many attractions. The hotel itself is very dated and in need of major work and updating. The mattress was lumpy, towels were very rough and old, rug was dirty in the room and in the hallway. The side door to enter the building was unsecured and could be opened without a key. Very convenient location. I was actually surprised how impeccably neat and clean the room was after walking through a rather shabby entrance door and the hallway. But the room of course is the more important. Good air conditioning, good shower. Fridge is basic and very small + watch out for the preset T - it was set too low (as for the freezer), which froze all my veggies that I put in it.

The room was mostly clean, bathroom was a little dirty. They don’t offer breakfast, just a 10% discount at the diner next door which was not mentioned before checking in. They’re renovating so it smells like paint and noisy. The actual yard areas are messy with debris and not mowed. The pool was okay except they left the dead bugs from the filter all over the floors and had a real loud machine running the whole time. The vending machine gave the wrong items. They also only change towels and sheets every three days unless you request more. It being next to the diner was nice for quick meals and not fighting traffic. Walking distance to olde Mistick village was nice. The air conditioner wouldn’t keep the fan on and the backsliders wouldn’t open either. Overall it was decent but for $100+ night I’d have preferred towels and sheets. There’s no coffee maker or anything in the rooms either.

If you're looking for a nice vacation or get away, avoid at all costs. This place is a dump and is no better than a truck stop motel. I don't know if the pictures are old or AI but it looks drastically nicer online. Aside from the dirty bathroom and overall run down look of the hotel, the entire place reeks of weed and cigarettes. The staff was friendly enough and the location was central to everything, but the hotel itself was just gross.

We enjoy staying at this location..this visit our refrigerator was not working, after having to pack up and move to another room the extra security lock on the door was missing and the sliding door security bar was broken…it seemed the little things were over looked…housekeeping was very accommodating in assisting with minor details…we do plan on staying here again!!
