The price was extremely high, but the quality was very poor. I was given a room that did not have an ocean view, even though that was what I specifically requested. On top of that, I still had to pay an additional fee for parking. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience because the service and accommodations did not justify the high price I paid.

Check-in desk was unattended when we arrived (about 4 pm). Waited about 5 minutes for someone to show up. Discounted price quickly came up to the standard rate with add-on fees (resort fee, parking fee, damage fee). Don't pay the damage insurance fee if you can tolerate the hold on your card. Room was OK but not great; turned out the floors were dirty enough to avoid going barefoot inside. A LONG list of rules and prohibitions is posted all over the public areas some violations can be punitive. At the end my wife said the best part was having a parking garage! In the future, no more "resorts" for us. This wasn't the first online "discount" rate in Myrtle Beach that was below expectations in that property space.

I had to leave a day early due to a medical emergency. I’m a physician and one of my clients was in crisis. I had to leave at 8 PM, the night before the morning I was supposed to leave. And management expressed to me that they could not refund me or prorate me for that.

Unfortunately, my stay was very disappointing. I paid extra for early access to the room, but the key wouldn’t work when I arrived. Once I was finally able to get into the room, there were several cleanliness and maintenance issues. The toilet had feces on the seat, which was absolutely unacceptable and made me question whether the bathroom had been cleaned at all before my arrival. The TV also wouldn’t work and kept saying a connection couldn’t be found. The pillows on the couch were filthy, and I also found a baby roach in the bathroom. For what I paid, especially paying extra for early access, I expected the room to be clean, sanitary, and ready when I arrived. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. There were simply too many issues, and I would not feel comfortable recommending this property based on my stay.

It’s not a new hotel not sure if the price I paid was totally worth it. Some of the elevators take a long time to reach you. The room was clean but in room amenities were minimal again I would expect more for the price paid. The pools were clean but the times listed when they are open were not accurate.

Our room was beach view balcony, an updated complete kitchen , with normal fridge and stove, coffee maker. The room was clean and big spacious, separated from the bedroom, has morph bed and a couch on living room, shower glass door bathroom .The staff guy attended me was over the top, he smiled me so hard that I thought he recognized me from somewhere. Polite and super helpful , my dray on The Caravelle Resort main tower was awesome on our 41 year anniversary! I will comeback for sure.

Housekeeping could do better with cleaning the rooms. The floors were dirty and you can tell they didn't vacuum rug. The bathroom had standing water in the tub. I reported that the water was dripping as well.

My husband and I booked this resort for our honeymoon. The first room was small and unclean, several issues and it smelled of mode. We requested a change and they were very accommodating. Our next room was clean besides one shower. They cleaned the shower and changed our bed the bed next day. The hallways are filthy more than likely due to the carpet being wet constantly. Unfortunately we will be booking again. The staff was amazing, the accommodations and resort upkeep needs major work.

I didn’t like we had 3 kids and got a room with a shower and not a tub, but they eventually moved us 3 days after our stay. Also watch your stuff at the pool cause it will get stolen if you’re not watching it. Our kids brand new crocs were stolen. Location was great tho!!!
