"We could see the beach from the property and it was on the coast line. So it's good. Couldnt see the sunrise or sunset from the room. But would recommend going to the beach itself to see it"

"I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. I had to change rooms twice because of cleanliness issues. Both rooms were dirty—the headboards had visible dirt, and the carpet was old, stained, and had a bad smell. After moving to the second room, I asked for it to be cleaned, but the housekeeper told me he was only there to provide towels and take out the trash. That was really frustrating and not what I expected. The overall property wasn’t much better. There was trash all around both the indoor and outdoor pool areas, including beer cans left by other guests, which made everything feel unclean and poorly managed. The elevators were also a problem—they were always overcrowded and hard to use. Overall, this stay did not meet basic expectations for cleanliness or service, and I would not recommend staying here."

"Disappointing stay. Tried to book a reasonably budgeted vacation, but the “resort” felt like we paid minimum prices with the rooms to come here. Would have been glad to spend a little more to stay at the DoubleTree where we needed to stay an additional night due to flight delays. It felt like several stars’ difference instead of 1. Dayton felt like a motel stay. I read reviews and saw photos but felt really led astray in the end. Rooms were clean enough but just dingy walls, some used false eyelashes noted on the floor, dingy elevators. Room wasn’t cleaned the first day and I learned we needed to request a clean 24 hours in advance to get this. One of the pools was closed. The free breakfast that people highlighted was dismal. Found only pancakes, no fruit. Saw other families trying to make the most of it. Didn’t return to this breakfast. Staff was nice but it was just very disappointing."
