The location is fantastic, right by the river in the Old Town and within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see. We considered buying travel cards but never needed them. Even in January, with snow and temperatures well below zero, it was easy and enjoyable to walk everywhere. The hotel itself is cosy and warm, with a lovely atmosphere. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, not forced in any way. Our room was spotless, warm and very comfortable, with a fantastic view. This trip was a birthday surprise for my partner and the hotel really went above and beyond. We were upgraded to a top-floor room and welcomed with a bottle of wine, chocolates, a card and balloons. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the stay truly memorable. Communicating with the hotel beforehand was also very easy, and they replied almost immediately every time. The spa area, with the sauna and plunge pool, was a great place to relax and unwind after a long day of walking and before heading out for dinner. Breakfast was outstanding and absolutely lived up to all the praise it gets. Everything throughout the hotel was impeccably clean, and the room was very quiet. We didn’t hear any noise from outside at all. In terms of value, the level of service and care you receive more than justifies the price. If I had to mention one small negative, it would be the bed.
