"The room felt modern, clean, and comfortable. As a solo traveller staying for a single night I'm glad I chose the Rex hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar and restaurant were fantastic for a drink and a bite to eat, but it did get pretty busy there later in the evening (Saturday night). The room had a modern bathroom, comfortable bed and basic tea/coffee (instant) plus free to air TV. Also a nice little balcony overlooking the mountain views. Parking availability is an issue and I had to find street parking, but I think this is an issue for most Canberra accommodation, and the street parking was close, safe, and free."
