Stayed here for a week for a work trip. The facility and room were both very clean and comfortable. And from check in to check out the staff were very welcoming. The room was very quiet despite being in a very lively part of town, and the AC was quite a welcome relief from the heat. It's very well located and just a great place to stay whether you are sight seeing or visiting the university. I would absolutely stay here when visiting Munich in the future.

Standard 3-star, no frills hotel. The breakfast was great and the location is awesome. Super walkable to Old Town & the metro is right nearby. If you’re looking for a comfortable place for a short stay, I highly recommend this hotel.

If you can manage with the tiny rooms, tiny elevator, and retro decor, this is a great little hotel in the popular Schwabing area. Public transportation connections are excellent. Service is very attentive, rooms are spick and span clean, and the German breakfast buffet (included!) is fresh with many delicious options.

I was so impressed with how organized and clean everything was in my room. Small but well kept. It's only about 30 minutes on foot to Marienplatz and all the touristy things that make Munich so much fun.

Helpful staff

The beds were too hard and narrow ( two twin beds), and the pillows were too flat and tough. The staff at reception was very accommodating and helpful! They helped us to schedule taxis and to refrigerate a medicine.

If you are going to Munich, book Hotel Hauser! It's a 10-minute walk to the center of historic Munich, surrounded by all kinds of bars and eateries, and truly one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff was unfailingly helpful and available, breakfast is wonderful, the air-conditioning worked beautifully - if I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

The room is basic as is also de bathroom. The staff is nice. It would have been desirable to have a little fridge in the room and also a coffee maker. The room itself and especially the bathroom were very small. The breakfast was basic as well.

We loved the Hotel Hauser. It was so conveniently located to many restaurants as well as being close to the subway. Even though the area around the hotel is very popular, our room was really quiet. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lovely breakfast, which we enjoyed each morning of our stay. We would definitely stay there again.
