Pros: The staff, attention to detail , cleanliness,
Cons: the vegetarian sandwiches at the afternoon tea at the Sea Lounge
Location: beautiful location right next to India gate
The hotel staff cannot be faulted. Natasha and her team made my mums birthday treat even more special . The attention to detail and the special touches she will remember forever - thank you. The hotel itself was full of old world charm. An amazing stay . will return.

Posted 05-May-2016
Pros: 建物そのもの。
Cons: 窓が開かない。
Location: インド門、フェリー乗り場の目の前。
周辺にはフェリー乗り場やインド門、美術館などがあり立地的にも最高の場所です。スタッフの対応も問題なく気持ちよく過ごすことができました。

A Great Hotel in a Great City

Posted 17-Apr-2016
Pros: Everything. Make sure you drink afternoon tea by the pool.
Location: Right in front of Gateway of India. You can go to Elephanta Caves from the Gateway of India by boat. Elephanta Caves is a must see.
I stayed at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel for a few days in March 2016. I have stayed in many grand hotels all over the world and I have to say that the Taj is one of my favorites I got a room with a very nice view of the Gateway of India). The service is excellent. The employees are passionate and proud of what they do. I was playing with my three year old daughter when the room service person came in. I casually mentioned to him that it was my daughters birthday. A few minutes later my daughter got a wonderful birthday cake as a present!!! I also read a lot books when I travel. The second day I was pleasantly surprised to come back to the room and find a custom pillow on my bed that said "Book lovers never go to bed alone". I was in Bombay for a wedding. I was taken to the wedding in a Mercedes Benz. A week after I checked out of the hotel, Prince William and Kate Middleton checked in (the third generation of British royalty to stay at the hotel). Make sure you stay at this hotel at least once in your lifetime.

Amazing

Posted 15-Apr-2016
Pros: Location. Amenities. Staff.
The Taj Palace hotel was a wonderful oasis in an otherwise crazy town. Its location in the Colaba means the ability to walk out of the hotel to experience a bit of the city. And, when I returned, the staff at the pool were always ready with a cold beverage to wash the sweat away. They took great care of me. The day that I checked out, Prince William and Kate were checking in. Enough said!

Incredible Experience!

Posted 12-Apr-2016
Location: Perfect location across the street from the Gateway to India arch. Prince William and Kate were there the day before we arrived.
Arrived at this beautiful property at 9:30 a.m. after a cruise. Check-in is 2 p.m. Beautiful, sari-clad Sonia apologized (!) that our room wasn't ready and upgraded us to a suite--foyer; living room with desk, table & chairs; bedroom; dressing room; two full bathrooms (!); two TV's--and she walked us to our suite.. Beautifully decorated with every amenity including frig and safe. After a day touring, we returned to find not only our bed turned down, but rose petals in the foyer and around the tub. Very comfortable bed and pillows, which is rare to find. Delish lunch and dinner. Camera batteries had died and the concierge went to a market to get some for us! Having requested a tour guide only the day before, we were more than pleased to be provided a chauffeur complete with uniform and white gloves driving a meticulous Mercedes and a fabulous guide (Adan). Tired after our three -week trip, but truly hated to leave this hotel. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Great sea view

Posted 11-Apr-2016
Pros: The historic Taj combines great service, ambience and high standards at each and every touch point.
The check in experience was quite different from anything else that I have experienced and was beyond expectations. The room was modem and fully functional with frequent servicing during the day. There is a wide choice of food in the various restaurants and bar areas, all of which are of high quality and provided with a high standards of service. The pool area is very pleasant and is both well serviced and policed making for a relaxing and quiet retreat. Nothing is too much trouble or impossible - you ask and they try to fulfil the request. Overall an experience and very much part of the holiday.

This is a beautiful oasis in the midst of bustling Mumbai. An excellent, welcoming and efficient staff made this a memorable stay for me.
