"Bill's place is lovely and was great for a long birthday weekend trip for our foster daughter. It meets or exceeds the photos in the listing. We appreciated the wagon to carry our things down to the water. We also liked that you don't have to go up & down flights of stairs to get to & from the lake. Do be aware that there is a flight of stairs down from the driveway, then back up into the cottage. I did contact Bill during our stay & he responded quickly. "Rented for whitewater rafting on the Chattooga. Communication was terrific and check in was easy. Pretty steep roads climbing to the house but well worth it. Loved sitting on the deck with a cocktail and a book. Really quiet and exceptional view. Very clean and comfortable, including the beds. Everything we needed."

"We enjoyed the location of this cabin, secluded enough but easy to get to. Sky Valley is a nice resort. House was clean, great layout, big rooms and bathrooms were updated. Very quiet location convenient to many places- we visited Franklin and Dillsboro. Hiked Scaly Mountain and Blackrock. Our only glitch was access code to door did not work - casa was helpful but glad we arrived before dark. Leaves were everywhere which made walking to door tricky. No firewood for pit. "We had a delightful stay at this cottage in the woods, a peaceful, quiet and relaxing ambience with pretty walks at one’s doorstep. It was amazing how many amenities were fit into this compact space. Two double bedrooms, two full baths with tubs, a large kitchen with washer, dryer and a comfortable living area to sit and relax. The kitchen was well equipped such that we ate in as often as out. The comfortable beds made for a restful nights sleep. Everything in its place, it was perfect."
