Room was clean and acceptable, but having to pay for a carpark, it would be far better if there was direct access to the hotel, instead of having to constantly walk around on the footpath.

Good Place to Stay in Mt Isa
Friendly and helpful staff. Considered by many as one of the best hotels available in the town and I can see why. More than adequate for my business visit with good free wifi and very popular with business visitors. I would advise you book as early as you can.

The location is primo, thank God as the only breakfast on offer is a continental breakfast and inviting someone to have breakfast is a short 2min walk. Years ago the Verona offered the very best of everything.

Nice, Comfortable stay
very pleasant 4 night stay over Easter. The room and bathroom were both very clean and quite spacious. The bed is nice and comfortable. The WiFi is excellent. Plenty of powerpoints for charging and convenient switches for the room lights next to the bed. Fantastic central location in the heart of the city centre, only 10 minutes walk to Outback in Isa. Buffs Club, Mt Isa Hotel/Red Earth are across the road. Nice pool. Reception staff are helpful and friendly. Fridge, tea and coffee, iron, hair dryer in room. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed over the whole of Easter, but there are plenty of other options around. A bit more expensive than most other hotels in town, but overall this has been a good, comfortable stay.

Where situated was good, walking distance for most of town area. We had room 240 it was roomy and tidy only thing it overlooked car park and the mine area. This was alright only because of where you are. Parking is limited and mostly in the sun. They had a small pool area which was pleasant after a very hot day, late afternoon in shade.

The checkin experience was great; however, once in the room it went downhill very quick. With blood stains (or the like) on the pillow, sheets, and blanket. This was the worst we have ever seen, we expected more from the Ibis Hotel Group.

The room was ok but the bedside light didn't work. The reception staff were good but the bar and restaurant staff were not attentive and unhelpful. One of the 2 main courses chosen (lasagne) was inedible and the staff were totally uncaring. They did not privide a desert menu when asked. We told the receptikn staff on leaving who ga ve us a 2n5% discount on the meal bill but we should not have been charged for that meal at all

Located well in Mt Isa. Everything within walking distance. Wasn't really happy with the service when I arrived. My booking with WOTIF was suppose to include breakfast but it didn't and the girl behind the counter was very rude about it. Had a look at the breakfast on Sat morning and was glad it wasn't included the fruit salad looked like it had been there a week. Overall was ok.
