Hi Gurmit,We are the oldest yet most popular motels in mount gambier. Though the place is old, but we keep is neat and clean and well maintained. Ensuite shower toilets are recently renovated. We believe that while having shower, door needs to be closed otherwise water will come out of shower cubical.

The electric points are designed to avoid overloading. if someone use multiple appliances such as microwave, toaster and electric kettle all together, the MCB trips to avoid any electrical complications. We have noticed some guests bring their own electric appliances such as rice cooker, which we do not allow them to you as they are not tag and tested , that also leads to MCB tripping. If you would have notified us when this thing happened , we would have helped you. Kitchenette and fridge issue has been taken care . thanks for that feedback. We always try to improve our room quality such as you must have noticed that room you were issued was equipped with a brand new bathroom and so was new aircon and carpet. Room type you chose was a budget category so we cannot help you much with room décor, but the décor is recently updated, and we try to make it neutral to suit everyone's taste. We also checked TV reception and remote, we didn't find any problem when checked. We will advise you next time wherever you stay, if you have such problem, please contact the staff on duty to help you instead of keeping this matter with you only and suffer. kind regards management

Hi Ian,Regarding your review, would kindly let you know that 1. The freezer was all clean, no food stuck in there and there is no need to defrost it. it does by itself. We Checked it by ourselves after reading your review.2. The air conditioner in the room you stayed in was a brand new one. How come there would have been so long time to clean the filter.3. If the taps in the shower were hard to turn on and off, we would have received plenty of complaints from other guests, which we never experienced.If you had that many issues with the room, you could have mentioned at the Reception, and we would have solved your problem.May be there is something else with which you are not happy because i cannot find any of these issues as "TERRIBLE".Please tell the accommodation provider next time you stay anywhere, what you feel is not working properly so that they can fix it for you, instead of sharing it as a review where nothing could be done about it and they couldn't make your stay pleasant.thanks
