"The rent was one of my favorite places. I stayed as I go a solo cross-country trip from San Francisco to New York. The room is absolutely adorable the breakfast wonderful the staff amazing and one of the most charming hotels I can imagine!"

"We traveled with our dogs, and were given a room at the very far end of the building. Unfortunately, the locks on the doors leading to the outside at the end and the middle of the building were not functioning to enable us to use our keys to get in and out. So we could go out the door, but not get back in. I did appreciate the grass around the property to walk my dogs on. And the onsite restaurant had an outdoor patio that allowed dogs so we were able to go out there with them and have an enjoyable supper. The server we had was great! All in all, a nice place and we would book there again if we were passing through again."

"The was extremely dirty. Bathroom was disgusting dirt, hair, dirty towels were in the bathroom. The front door looked like somebody had tried to kick it in completely scraped up very disappointing. Ran my finger across the top of the air-conditioning unit. The dust was extremely thick. Appeared to not have been wiped down or cleaned in a long time. Went back and looked at the pictures from the Expedia website. They do not match the actual on-site of the Red Lion. The entire facility looks rundown dirty unclean. We had to go up the stairs to get to the second level. There was a dirty mop bucket that looked like it had been sitting out for weeks with grime all over it. I would never recommend this place again. If it wasn’t late at night, we would’ve left and found another place. That’s how bad it was."

"They fail to advertise the locomotives that pass by at various times throughout the night. They do have ear plugs at no cost. No fitness center. Lousy breakfast. I will not return."

"The description and pictures of the lodging were accurate, and the host did reply to questions in a timely manner. My primary issues were that I did not receive check-in information the night before the stay, even though I was told it would be sent. (I believe this is standard for all VRBO reservations?) I had to check in with the host the day of the reservation again in order to get the door code. Upon arrival I found a soiled washcloth in a stack with clean ones, which was a little unnerving. Other than that, the small home was comfortable and quiet, just as described."
